Mass indoctrination Day 4
Good evening everyone. Hope we are all doing great. Am Sis Atuma Hope ay I wai to use this medium to share my post on the Mass indoctrination Day 4.
From the teaching, we learnt that the Lord Jesus has doctrines on how we should say our prayers and how we should kneel when praying . According to Philip. 4:6, prayer is making a request or petition to God. A prayer is not a narrative or story telling. In Prayer, we are not to use vain repetitions, for example in the book of Acts 1:24-26, the Apostles were praying for God to direct them on whom to choose among Barnabas and Mathias to replace Judas who betrayed Jesus and killed himself as they were twelve before his death. The twelve represents the twelve tribes of lsreal. The Apostles prayers was brief and they prayed based on their immediate needs. God does not want us to use vain repeatation in our prayers.
We also learnt according to the book of Mark11:24, that as a believer, we should pray with Thanksgiving because in doctrine of God, once we have made our request to God, we should trust/believe in Him for answers that we have already received and therefore we should thank God before hand. The commandments of Christ is that every Christian should praying is asking from God, not storytelling. It is God's commandments that we pray before we eat just as Christ did in matt5:3-4. Every creature of God is good and therefore we should receive it with Thanksgiving.
We learnt from the teaching that we are not to pray seasonally, we should pray and maintain a line of communication with God, we should pray both in the time of difficulties and at comfort. In Luke18 :1-7 we should pray both day and night and in 1Thess. 5:17 we should pray with out ceasing. We should live a prayerfully life. In praying, our words should be few( Ecc.5 :2. Our prayers should be concise, precise and not repeatative.
One who calls on God, should do it with a pure heart because if you are calling on God with a filthy heart, He will not hear you. In the book of Peter 3: 10 - 12, God's ears are open unto the prayers of a purified heart. A pure heart is a heart void of offense towards God and toward men. According to the book of Matthew15 :19 - 20,evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies are the things that can defile a man's heart. The heart of a man is deceitful and evils for this reason we should try to purify our hearts as the heart of a man is deceitful (Jeremiah 17:9-10), for God can see a man's heart. The Word of God can clean our hearts (John 15:3) and for our hearts to be purified, we should allow the Words of God into our hearts and keep them by obeying God's Words, the truth can purify our hearts. Every one praying should depart from iniquities (2Tim.2 :19).
Thanks for reading through. Hope we learnt something too there. You are invited to join us in the remaining study of the mass indoctrination. God bless us.
Thanks be to God for listening on our meeting.
MCGI Cares (Hive) community's main mission is to share the words of God, not the Hive upvotes. If we get upvotes, please treat it as just a bonus. Do not focus mainly on material things as the bible is teaching us not to look at things seen but rather focus our eyes on things not seen.
II CORINTHIANS 4:18
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
