Mass indoctrination Day 3
Good day all. This is Atuma Hope and am happy to be here again. This post was done on the 13/7/2022 to share my benefits from the study.
We learnt in course of the study that calling upon (praying) is one of God's commandment for us. God does not hear the prayer of everyone. From the book of John 9:31, God does not her the prayers of sinners but He answers only the prayers of of the uprights. God is pleased and delighted with the prayers of a person who is upright.
According to Ecc.5:1-2 we should praying in few words and be more ready to hearing from God too. Praying repeatedly (saying words over and over again) is prohibited by God. (Isaiah65:24).
Another way that our prayer can be acceptable by God is that it should not be done just to boast, according to Matt.6:5 the intent of praying should not be to show off to our follow men, for prayers is a private matter between us and God (mark11:5).
As real Christians we should not always stand in praying, not that we cannot stand to pray if the situation do not allow us to kneel, but do not love to pray standing and showing off to people.
Kneeling to pray should be in a vertical position but in Matt. 26:39 we should kneel with our face down in horizontal position.
According to 1 Corin. 11: 3-6 it is lack of respect to God if a man should pray with his head covered but, every women praying should have a covering on her head reasons been that the glory of a woman is in her husband and the head of a woman is her husband (the man), the head of every man is Christ.
