Mass indoctrination Day 1 on the 11/7/22

Good day everyone. It's indeed a privilege to hear God's word and am glad to be privileged to be among those to hear God's word. Our faith only grows when we hear God's word, for the bible says that faith comes by hearing the word of God.

From the teaching, we learnt that Jesus is the only teacher that was appointed by God for us to hear and follow. So, if there is anyone for us to follow,then it's Jesus Christ. In Luke 9:35, we saw God declared Christ to His only begotten son and that we should listen to Him and also hear him.

This is very important because there are mixed teachings out there and there are somany that teaches the doctrine of men and such worship God in vain. God doesn't delight in the worship of such , hence we should examine thoroughly any religion before we believe. Any teaching that is not written in the bible isn't a commandment. We have to compare things one to another so we can know what exactly is true. For instance, it's not written in the bible that God would bring His throne from heaven down to earth and hence it's a false teaching.

We learnt from the study that baptism is the first doctrine of Christ to the church. Before Jesus went to heaven, he gave a commandment according to Matthew 28:20 to His disciples to preach the gospel to all heaven and to baptized those that believed in Him. Baptism is a commandment and hence, it's not right to say that we just have ten commandments in the bible as some believe. Baptism is a criteria before one can be added to the church. when Paul was converted, he was immediately asked by God to get baptized and be added to the church. So, before we are added to the church, we must be baptized.

The church of God is established for us to be part of. The church of God is to teach the wisdom of God. It's wrong to say that the era of the church is over. The church is precious to Christ. He purchased it with His own blood. Anything that is of God must bear the name of God. we are called to be part of the church and not to be of our own.
