Mass indication Day 4 on the 15/7/22

Good afternoon everyone. Hope we are all doing good. My name is Atuma Hope and I am glad to be in our midst again. This post is done on the 15/7/22 to share what I benefitted from the Mass indoctrination Day 4.

I learnt from the teaching according to Philip. 4:6 that prayer is making known our request and supplication with thanksgiving to God.
In line with the parable of our Lord Jesus in Luke18:1-7, we should pray day and night, in difficulties or in comfort we are to pray, as 1Thess. 5:17 says pray without ceasing. Remember a prayer should be simple, with few words ( Ecc. 5:2) and no use of vain words.

A way for us to be sure that our prayers are heard by God is that, anyone who calls on God should do so with a pure heart. A pure heart is a conscience that is void of offense towards God and his follow men. In the book of Jeremiah 17:10 God can see the heart of a man.

Once again God does not hear the prayers of a heart that is not cleanse or purify. Once we are baptized, our sins will be forgiven and forgotten but purification or cleansing comes only by hearing and studying the Word of God as in the Bible book of John 15:3. The Word of God should be obeyed after being heard and studied, as seen in 1 Peter 1:22, John 17:17.

Everyone praying should depart from iniquities like, lying, hypocrisy, bitterness, deception, wickedness and so many others which is found in Gala. 5: 19-21. Also according to the book of Matt. 12:33-34, when the heart (referred to tree) is good, it will speak forth good, but a heart of evil, speaks evil for out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.
