Nayib Bukele Bangs The Drum for Bitcoin Adoption

Right now I think everyone already knows who the godfather of crypto is and it’s no other person than Nayib Bukele, the president of El Salvador. He’s best known as the advocate for Bitcoin and if given the chance, he will probably make the world and every country in it adopts Bitcoin. And he has proven himself once again by promoting Bitcoin in the meeting of the Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI) that his country hosted.

The funny aspect of it all was that his discussion about Bitcoin wasn’t on the agenda of the meeting to be discussed but he did make sure to find space for it. The Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI) is an organization that is based in Malaysia and its purpose and objective is for countries to come together and discuss or plan ways to be used to advance financial inclusion in the country both at home and abroad.

This year’s event, however, took place in El Salvador and it was giving Nayib Bukele the opportunity to discuss the idea of adopting Bitcoin to many countries on a gold platter because they were all in one place and it’s his country. Among the attendance were representatives of the Central Bank of countries like Angola, Armenia, Bangladesh, Costa Rica, Congo, Ecuador, Egypt, Gambia, Jordan, Nigeria, Madagascar Etc. In total, they are 32 banks and 12 authorities.

Despite Nayib Bukele taking to headlines and social about discussing the topic of Bitcoin in the meeting, countries like Paraguay's central bank isn’t pleased about it that the main focus of the meeting was based on topics like financial inclusion and the digital economy and it won’t be part of any discussion that involves crypto topic.

That doesn’t bother Nayib Bukele as his keeping the hopes of his fans on Twitter high by tweeting about planting seeds in 44 countries and with the hashtag Bitcoin to the world.
