RE: BUILDING BUILDING BUILDING

Hi Bradley. Do you have a plan in place for #BBH for if/when (or before) you are unable to continue with the project, for whatever reason?

There is more than one project on Hive which has gone to dust due to not having such a plan (decentralised management for want of a better expression), eg. DHEDGE.

@nonameslefttouse hinted re. this issue in a reply he made to @jongolson, but i've not seen a response to that.

Yes, I will give everything over to my coder. It will be passed on.

Actually I was hinting at something entirely different. There's always the same one element missing in every tokenized community or project I stumble into here. Often leads to dust because it's missing. But I don't want to say what it is. Plus this isn't my project so it's none of my business.

i'm very interested to know to what you refer. Would you consider telling me about it off chain, with an encrypted messenger perhaps?

When you have a product like content, sprinkling tokens on it doesn't make the product valuable. You need people buying tokens to support the product, much like readers buying magazines or books. The usual approach just leads to overwhelming sell pressure, every time. Mainly because there's no interest in attracting people who want to pay. Only people wanting to get paid. Then those "earned" tokens are used to sprinkle more tokens upon other products. No buy pressure whatsoever once those gears start turning. Just holders and sellers.

Thanks. Yes, "real world" uses for the token(s) are necessary for sustainability.
