Tuong Dai Bac Ho and The Stunning City Hall in Downtown Ho Chi Minh City
We all know that the Asian is a large land and consists of many countries, is located in one corner of the world and have various ethnicities and cultural traditions. I was born on the Asian continent, becoming an Indonesian citizen, of course neighboring countries such as Malaysia, Cambodia, Philippines and Vietnam are very close of my country.
I live on one of the largest islands in Indonesia, Sumatra Island, close to several neighboring countries, even Kuala Lumpur is much closer to the city where I live than the capital of Indonesia, Jakarta. That's what is often a consideration when I want to travel, so I often travel abroad rather than to several cities in Indonesia.
So, as a consideration this time, I went to Ho Chi Minh City, one of which is closer than to the island of Bali or a city which is famous as a tourist city in Indonesia, and besides, the price of plane tickets is much cheaper than within the country. FYI, I also wonder why plane tickets in Indonesia are so expensive compared to other countries, so many travelers are lazy about vacationing in Indonesia. Honestly, Indonesia has many interesting places, but when you open the application to book plane tickets, you will really hate the prices which are sometimes unreasonable.
When I arrive in Ho Chi Minh City, I am so obviously interested in the city tour because several places were very close to each other. Whats more interesting, I'm very curious about Ho Chi Minh, who is famous as the father of Vietnamese independence. It was highly respected as a person who was high dedicated to the country of Vietnam, his statue was even made in the center of Ho Chi Minh City, right in front of City Hall.
FYI, the Ho Chi Minh statue is very close to our hotel, only 10 minutes walk, I found the statue of Ho Chi Minh standing very proudly. The scorching heat of the sun didn't deter my legs from walking, even though I could have ordered a taxi or grab a car, I preferred to walk while looking around the city, especially the culture in this city.
You can see how big the Ho Chi Minh statue is, lots of people taking photos and enjoy the vibes of this city. This statue is not just a statue, but have a historical moments. Around the Ho Chi Minh statue, there are lots of flowers and plants, and it turns out that these are all in a very large park, one of the largest public places in this city.
This park very well facility and maintaine by the local government, even the ceramics have been tiled and you can sit on the floor without fear. I hope that when you are in this park you have a good attitude, especially when taking photos with the Ho Chi Minh statue, because there are a lot of security guards, especially not to throw rubbish in this place.
Thankfully, the air, atmosphere and weather really support me to enjoy my vacation time today. Remember, that Ho Chi Minh has quite tropical weather, in my opinion even hotter than Bangkok, so to wear clothes that are flexible, thin and comfortable, because your sweat will really produce a lot, using sunblock is highly recommended.
Behind the Ho Chi Minh statue, there is a very large building, shape like a castle with an attractive building and classic style with the architecture. I like the unique shape and I rarely see this style of building. They said that this city hall was a hotel and was later converted into a City Hall.
This city hall is a beautiful place, have a very precise composition with the statue of Ho Chi Minh. I am so interest to exploring the City Hall, but I just afraid to go in because it could be very difficult to get through. I thought it would be enough to just take photos like other tourists.
Capture the moment on this street, while looking at the luxurious, classic and majestic forms of the buildings. There is a Vietnamese flag flying on a pole right above the roof, a red flag with a gold star in the middle. It seems that this building is very well maintained, not even a single piece of paint has faded and it is also very clean from any disturbances.
This building also looked very majestic with the white clouds and blue sky that day, with a very large area, I didn't even know where the end was. But I think you should visit this place, a place that I love for its architectural style. Don't be afraid of this hot weather, near here you will find many local coffee shops that taste very good. Vietnamesse coffee with ice is the best.
See you the next time hive friends!
