Mango Sago Smoothies

IMG_6006.JPG

In my small garden, there is a mango tree that is bearing fruit. We harvest mangoes almost every day, a season that is quite satisfying to enjoy sweet and fragrant mangoes. The mangoes that we have are enough to satisfy us, even very happy because they taste very good, sweet and have a soft texture like expensive mangoes.

I harvested the mangoes, the afternoon was quite hot and made me thirsty. When it's summer like this, the body needs dehydration and sufficient vitamin C. Indeed, God has created various tropical fruits with high water content and also vitamins that support the body's resistance to extreme weather.

Mango Sago Smoothies

It's a little different from the usual mango sago, this time I made mango sago with a little smoothies at the bottom of the glass. Wait, this is really very fresh because the composition of mango is more. Here are the ingredients:

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg of mango that I picked from the tree in my garden
  • White sago granules
  • Jelly powder
  • Nata de coco
  • 1 pack of coconut milk
  • 50 gr granulated sugar

How to Make Mango Sago Smoothies:

  • The first thing, I made jelly for a chewy texture. Because jelly takes time to harden and solidify, this is the first thing to do. Cook jelly with sugar and water. Boil until boiling and mold in 1 square container. Wait 1 hour for the jelly to set. I use mango jelly so that the taste is the same.

  • While waiting for the jelly, I boiled the sago in a slightly difficult way. First you have to really have boiling water, then put in the sago and boil until the white color becomes transparent. After that, it is filtered and rinsed with cold water so that the sago becomes very beautiful grains.

  • Peel the mango then puree it with a blender, then leave a few pieces of mango that will be the garnish on top of the glass. The mango smoothie is put into the glass to be at the bottom of the glass so that it looks beautiful when served.

  • Then in the second layer, I put the cut jelly, nata de coco, and sago. Then I pour coconut milk after that, so there is a difference in color between the yellow from the mango and the white from the coconut milk.
