Hello everyone!
Finally, finally after 4 years passed and all my extended family came back to Medan city. This time, all finally went home because my cousin was having a wedding, where all the family was invited to attend this sacred and happy celebration.

All of my family from Pekanbaru city came in droves without anyone not attending. Then after the event was over, we made new plans for fun. My cousin wanted this moment to be an unforgettable memory.

Finally we decided to take a vacation to a place closest to the hotel, because all my family had to go back to Pekanbaru tomorrow morning, so we looked for other alternatives for vacation. One of my family members suggested we go to Wisata Merci.

Wisata Merci is a famous place in Medan. It is a water park that is a favorite of many people to play water rides and swimming pools. This place is famous for its cleanliness and its many and extreme rides.

After breakfast, we immediately went on the way to Wisata Merci so as not to waste time, because we think this is the right time to play in the water so it doesn't get too hot. But unfortunately, Wisata Merci opens at 09.00 am and we arrived at the place at 08.00 am. Finally we waited in front of the ticket counter for an hour in the scorching heat of the sun. That day it seemed the sun was too hot in the morning.

After an hour of waiting for the ticket counter to open, we finally got tickets and went straight to the location. Before entering, we were checked by the officer to check whether the group brought food or drinks. The main regulation in Wisata Merci is that it is forbidden to bring food and drinks from outside, so we are devoted to buying food and drinks from Wisata Merci.

After passing the inspection, we went in and found a suitable place to put things. We decided to rent a gazebo next to the stream, for 500,000 rupiah, we got 2 gazebos that were clean and had AC.

After putting things down, my family and I chose to rent couple tires to play in the current pool and some rides that require tires. We chose cuple tires to have a lot of fun with other family members.

There are so many rides that can be played here, besides the current pool, there are several other rides such as slides with various types that can be used for children, adults and very extreme. We tried all the rides which were very fun, even I was addicted to ride the extreme slides even though I had to climb a lot of stairs.

In the children's pool, there are several fun slides and water booms. My brother even played with his 1 year old son, it was very safe and fun.

The most popular rides in Wisata Merci is the current pool, where this pool is very long like a river, and this pool surrounds all areas of Merci Barn. Not only that, around the current pool there are lots of flowers and showers that make us relax. In fact, I went around 5 times with the current pool, because it was very exciting and fun. We flocked with family to play in the current pool, laugh and joke on the tires that travel on the water.

The price offered for 1 ticket per person is 50,000 rupiah. We can get a discount price if we have a booster vaccine, it seems they support the government's program for health to deal with the covid virus. To rent 1 piece of tires, the price is 35,000 - 50,000 rupiah for a day, and the price of the gazebo that is rented also starts from 90,000-500,000 rupiah depending on the type of gazebo you want.
