Koh Seang Tat Fountain Garden - George Town

Start From Here, The Hall Town.
If I hadn’t been to Penang, I wouldn’t have known about this. One of the lessons I gained and I am grateful to have been able to set foot here, in Penang City. Different from Kuala Lumpur which is the mainland of Malaysia. Penang has its own special features. Here I will make you able to do virtual traveling with various photos from my cellphone camera when I visited Penang, a few months ago.

Starting from a building located on one of the beaches, this yellow building is truly stunning. The building is very sturdy and luxurious with very capable architecture. From here I understand that this city has similarities with the city of Adelaide which is famous for its beautiful city planning and also maintaining the sustainability of the city and its cultural heritage.

Koh Seang Tat Fountain Garden

Penang City is so hot, because it is on one island and also around it there are beaches and seas that are integrated. If we hear the history of this city, Penang City has indeed been a center of trade from the past to the present, because this island is very strategic in distribution by sea.

Besides the Town Hall, there is a very large park that can be accessed by the public. There are several banyan trees but they have very wide branches and can shade the area around the park. The park is very clean, not even a single dry leaf falls and spoils the beauty of the park. In the middle of the park there is a pond with a small fountain, so there are ripples of water that make this park very peaceful.

I came here by bicycle, I paddled my bicycle from the hotel which was 5 km away, it made me sweat a lot because the weather was also quite hot. Because this summer is really very warm, but the wind is enough to dispel the hot air. There is a fruit truck, you should try the fruit here because it tastes quite good and sweet. They sell various tropical fruits such as watermelon, pineapple, mango and many others.

Sitting in this fairly shady park makes the heart feel very peaceful. Don't worry, there are several chairs that can be sat on and there are also a lot of them. apparently, this park is called Koh Seang Tat Fountain Garden. A garden that is deliberately maintained and preserved because it has a history for this city. The city of Penang also maintains the preservation of its culture so that it was awarded by UNESCO.

Very happy to be here, it is really very peaceful. I became curious about the city of Adelaide, while the sister city is already very beautiful and peaceful. What about Adelaide? Makes me curious and have to save up to get there. Again, traveling will always make me feel ungrateful and want more and more.

In addition to the Town Hall, there is another building next to it and it is quite bigger. The Pulau Pinang City Council Building. No different from the building next to it, only the color is all white, the building is bigger and also more crowded. Maybe this is one of the super busy government buildings, because I saw the parking lot which is quite large and also crowded.

Uniquely, these two buildings are very beautiful and also have a very luxurious architecture. Although it does not actually reflect Malay culture, not an original Asian design, but it is quite interesting and looks very sturdy among other buildings.

This is what made me fall in love with the city of Penang, it really makes me miss its peaceful vibes and neat city layout.

See you the next time hive friends!
