High Protein Low Carbs Chicken Dim Sum For My Friends At The Gym
Hello everyone,
An interesting fact about chicken breast, become a topic of conversation the fitness world is that it is an animal protein that high in protein and the price is cheapest if compare with another animal proteins, and the fat content is quite low compare to meat and seafood.
Every day, I feel like I want to vomit because I'm so fed up with eat more chicken breast toasted on a pan, so I really want something different from usual. I feel so amazed by people who can eat chicken every day using the same cooking method, like one of my friends at the gym where I work out.
So, I'm interested in making my friend food that is high in protein but minimal in carbohydrates and fat, because he is building muscle mass. Good progress for maintaining daily food because it has a 70% effect on the muscle formation process to grow well. After a workout, you need around 2g of protein times your body weight, which is enough to help recover muscle injuries, repair damaged cells and is enough to distribute nutrients throughout the body, including organs.
I intend to muster up the determination to make chicken dim sum, especially using chicken breast because I feel that even though it's not as delicious as using chicken thighs, there is very little fat in chicken breast compared to using chicken thighs, at least it provides more protein than other ingredients. As usual, the recipe is below!
Ingredients:
- 500 gr ground chicken breast
- 5 cloves of garlic
- 50 gr tapioca flour
- Spring roll skin
- 1 tsp mushroom stock, 1 tsp sesame oil, 1 tsp oyster sauce
- 1 ½ tsp salt and pinch of pepper
- Tapioca pearls for decoration on dim sum
- Olive/corn or canola oil
How to make High Protein Low Carbs Chicken Dim Sum:
- Because I have ground chicken breast, I remove some of the remaining water from the chicken, then put it in a large bowl to mix all the ingredients.
- Put the prepared ingredients into the bowl except for the oil and spring roll skin, everything is stirred using a large spoon or spatula. Stir until everything is dissolved into one mixture.
- Take 1 spring roll skin, rub oil on the outside of the skin, and inside the spring roll skin, add 1 tablespoon of dough, shape and fold into the shape I made in the picture.
- Place 3-4 red tapioca pearls, then put them in a container. Can be steamed directly or put in the refrigerator to become frozen. I put it in mica like this to store in the freezer so that it will be frozen tomorrow and I can give it to my friend at the gym.
- After steaming for 25 minutes, I'm ready to eat high protein chicken dim sum this time.
See you the next time hive friends!

Here in our country we call it "Siomai" it is one of the most popular snacks here anytime of the day.
Siomai and dimsum seem to be the same food, but here it is called that, siomai uses a different sauce.
Dim sum, a quite interesting and rhyming name. It's looking dumplings. Are they same please confirm. As in dumplings meat is used but I just ate dumplings once.

Yes, it's a little different but the contents remain the same, namely chicken breast, but there's a little oyster sauce added :D so the taste is a little different
