I draw Splinterland's Lobb Lowland in my own style (ENG/ITA)

Hello everyone, and welcome to this new appointment, appointment number 34 to be precise, in this series of articles I draw the characters of @splinterlands with my style. The character that I propose to you today is Lobb Lowland a huge and powerful gorilla with a very charismatic and captivating style, stylistically I found the original design very beautiful and well done, therefore the version I proposed recalls its style and characteristics, in fact I have not I made additions of my own creation. Having decided on the subject, I immediately set to work and created the illustration dedicated to Lobb Lowland, you can see the final result below.

During the realization of this illustration, in addition to dedicating myself to the style of the character, I wanted to try to give him a position that suited the gorilla well, this was not easy, in fact the long and muscular arms are certainly more important than the rest of the body . this is normal because he is a very muscular and powerful gorilla.

the creative process used always starts from a quick drawing, this is to help me build the whole scene, once defined I will draw it in detail adding details and trying to get a clean and tidy illustration. Then I move on to the phase dedicated to coloring, which takes place in two steps, during the first step I color the whole illustration with flat colors, during the second step I add lights and shadows, in this particular illustration I also wanted to create a colorful and psychedelic background , in my opinion in line with the final result, below I show you some fundamental steps of the creative process that led to the final result.

It's always very challenging and fun for me to create my own versions of the characters that are part of the universe created by @splinterlands has been going on for a long time and allows me to challenge myself with weird and wonderful characters.

Ciao a tutti, e benvenuti in questo nuovo appuntamento, per la precisione nell'appuntamento numero 34, in questa serie di articoli disegno i personaggi di @splinterlands con il mio stile. Il personaggio che vi propongo oggi è Lobb Lowland un gorilla enorme e potente con uno stile molto carismatico e accattivante, stilisticamente ho trovato il disegno originale molto bello e ben fatto, quindi la versione da me proposta ne richiama lo stile e le caratteristiche, infatti non ho apportato aggiunte di mia creazione. Deciso il soggetto mi sono messo subito a lavoro ed ho realizzato l'illustrazione dedicata a Lobb Lowland, potete vedere qui di seguito il risultato finale.

Durante la realizzazione di questa illustrazione oltre a dedicarmi allo stile del personaggio ho voluto cercare di conferirgli una posizione che bene si adattasse al gorilla, questo non è stato semplice, infatti le lunghe e muscolose braccia hanno sicuramente una rilevanza maggiore rispetto al resto del corpo, questo è normale perchè si tratta di un gorilla molto muscoloso e possente.

il processo creativo utilizzato parte sempre da un veloce disegno, questo serve per aiutarmi a costruire tutta la scena, una volta definito lo vado a disegnare nei dettagli aggiungendo particolari e cercando di ottenere un'illustrazione pulita ed ordinate. Successivamente passo alla fase dedicata alla colorazione, la quale avviene i due passaggi, durante il primo passaggio coloro tutta l'illustrazione con tinte piatte, durante il secondo passaggio aggiungo luci ed ombre, in questa particolare illustrazione ho voluto creare anche un fondo colorato e psichedelico, secondo me in linea con il risultato finale, qui di seguito vi mostro alcuni dei passaggi fondamentali del processo creativo che ha portato al risultato finale.

Per me è sempre molto stimolante e divertente realizzare le mie versione dei personaggi che fanno parte dell'universo creato da @splinterlands è un appuntamento che va avanti da molto tempo e che mi permette di mettermi alla prova con personaggi bezzarri e fantastici.
