Hello StemSocial Community! Welcome to my blog. Being a resident of Lahore, it is an alarming situation for me that Lahore is ranked the world's most polluted city. There was a time when Lahore was compared with London due to its remarkable Infrastructure and Air Quality. Nowadays, things are getting worse, and mask-wearing is essential to save lives; otherwise, polluted air is enough to intoxicate your lungs. There are the worst weather changes currently, and people are feeling suffocated.

Air Pollution

Air Pollution is the worst change in the composition of air due to primary and secondary air pollutants. These pollutants affect air quality, and everything residing in this bad atmosphere is impacted. Whether it is Acid Rain or Global Warming, both are effects of Air Pollution. The United Nations should play its role in saving underdeveloped countries from the long-term effects of this pollution. Cancerous Radiation is entering our Globe; hence, Eye Cataracts as well as Skin tumor cases are very common.

I believe in Green Solutions. We need to grow as many plants as we can in our surroundings. Plants are the environmental lungs; they play the role of buffers. More plants will help more improvement in air. We should discourage deforestation and promote reforestation. We need to educate people about this natural treasure. It is the one thing that is cheap and helpful for all.

In Lahore, Air Quality is compromised. It is getting polluted day by day. Although our government is making policies, it has failed to educate people. Everyday Smog is an issue. Due to enormous traffic, fuel is consumed without cracking. Smoke from chimneys, chlorofluorocarbons from air conditioners and refrigerators, and nuclear waste are also adding in its severity. Government policies are getting neglected. I hope things will be better shortly.

Air is as important as water for humans to survive on this planet. We need to take preventive measures and educate people about the importance of air. For improvement in its quality, we need to promote plantation. When I came outside, I was suffocating, and the mask was not enough to save my lungs from bad air. Hence, I decided to share some pieces of pieces of advice about it here.
