Hello Hive Learners Community! Welcome to my blog. Different countries have planned different mandatory services for their citizens. They are essential for keeping the whole country safe and sound and must for the integrity of a country. Some countries assigned military services and sometimes countries make essential medical services for their citizens. In my country, there is no mandatory service but there are services that are voluntarily available for everyone. Their aim is to serve the country freely.

Boy's Scouting

In 2012 when I was in O level, there came government Scouting staff in our School. They proposed one brief explanation about Boy's Scouting. It is student's training system for different volunteers services in the country. I joined this training system in the start of 2013 and completed it. Our training mainly included running, medical first aid, how to protect ourselves from enemies by using weapons, and how to develop an army camp at the safest place. They provided me certificate after getting training.

This certificate is the sign of my prestigious and volunteer services. With this certificate, I can volunteer serve the military as well as medical services. Although it is not mandatory but I have dreamt to join military soon when there is a need. Our most of the students get boy's scouting as well as medical training.

BS'internship Training Programs

In my Country Pakistan, every BS Programs during graduation have six month internship programs in which students have to serve the nation according to their program without any salary. If you complete this internship program, you will get your degree. For example, if you are doing Nursing then you have to serve the hospital for six month or one year. Similarly if you have done D-pharmmacy then you have to serve for one year in government Pharmaceutical Industries.

Being an IT Graduate, I also have participated in this mandatory service. I have done my three month internship in one hospital IT department where I have to program a medical application that has medical daily records. In this application, I learn how to process medical data as well as how to develop a medical program for the whole Hospital. It was a learning for me.

I served my last three months internship in Military where I make myself aware about army radar system, country security system, effective use of AI in tracing different killers and criminals around the country. Moreover I got an opportunity to get 15 days general Army training where I furnished myself with medical fitness test, physical test, ISB test and other tests to keep myself alive and thrive in harsh environment. It was really an honour for me to take IT as well as General Training from my country military.

In 1977, the Law was made to provide military training to each citizen in Pakistan. After getting military training, it was essential for them to provide mandatory army services for about one year. From 1977 to onwards, Alhamdulillah Pakistan has not faced any war situation hence our army system is most developed one and they stopped giving army training to each citizen. Although our government is making different policies for students where they have to do different mandatory jobs for the country. It is good and much indeed where our country has space and gaps in staff, they use educated students for them. It will help our government in saving country budget and making a better economical structure. I don't know when the government emphasized but I'm in favour of this system.

Today, there are two important events for me.

• I want to wish "Happy Independence Day to India"
