Halloween display and meeting my friend.

Hello, hivers😁. After counting the days, finally, Sunday comes😁. There are times that I feel days pass too slowly. Especially when I feel drained and bored, I would count it until my off day. I have so many plans to do, but when the time comes, I feel too lazy to get up. All I want is to snuggle under the blanket and sleep the whole day. Even if I still want to lie down and get some more sleep, I have to get up and go out. My stomach is already complaining, and sleeping the entire day is also boring. My eyes also long for a different scenery. Not just the four corners of the walls. It's also hard to sleep at night, and I often regret sleeping the whole day if sleep is nowhere to be found at night😌.

I decided to drop by a mall before seeing one friend who had been calling me to meet up with her. I'm planning to eat something, for it's already late for lunch, and she's done eating.

Halloween is coming. I feel amused and delighted upon seeing this display. Halloween pumpkins are in different sizes, costumes, and even witches' hats. There's even a skull here displayed on top of the shelf😁. Unlike in the Philippines, we celebrate Halloween as All Saints Day and remember our beloved who departed and prayed for their souls—lighting up candles, buying flowers, and visiting their graves to commemorate their presence in our lives before. We sometimes believe, according to our ancestors, that they're back on that day to visit and spend time with us on that day. Who knows, it might be true, and they're around that time.

Here it is a day of costume-wearing, carved pumpkins, trick or treating and many more. Some children in our building, with their scary costumes and holding little baskets, would stroll around trick-or-treating and move from one house to another. It's fun watching them doing this, especially when they knock on your door, and you give them a treat.

After seeing enough, I went to one of the fast food chains and ate. My friend is already waiting for me. I got so carried away by the Halloween display that I forgot the time😁.

We just bought water and curls to eat while killing the time. We were both full from our lunch. We find a seat and start talking about how life's going on and sharing our rants and struggles. After we cheer ourselves up and divert our topics to something happy and positive😁.

Luckily, the sun cooperates this time. It's been raining the past few days, and I was expecting the same today. To my surprise, the sun did show up in our favour.

I started to write this post on Sunday. After feeling like an eternity, at last, I was able to finish it and publish😖😁. My apologies for not publishing often, for my mind is clogged nowadays, and I cannot concentrate on writing😣.
