Clay Snail | Creative Sunday

I have rarely listened someone saying i love snails or they are my favorite animal, why there are just few people who loves this beautiful creature of the God?

To be honest i have never seen snail in real life but i have watched so many documentaries and short films about snails, their nature, their special habits all are very admiring.

Even if someone asks me which pet do you want in your home i would surely say Snail without a delay of few seconds...,

But my mom don't like pets, I'm not sure but i think she hates animals, once i told her... Mom i want a chicken, and she replied I don't like chickens😩... it's not the first thing i asked her and she denied, everytime i talk about pets she suddenly changes the topic. Crazy Mom things🙂

Well whatever it is, today I'm going to make snail for my bed's side table because i i know my mom will never buy me this😐....

Procedure

I have started making this snail by collecting different clays, first i have made an oval out of green clay than i have shaped that oval in floral design with the help of clay knife.

Next i have made a blue oval and shaped it same as i have shaped the green one and then i have pasted it over the green one.

After making the base i have mixed purple and red clay to get some lighter shade of purple clay, and made a circle out of it. Which i have placed over the base i made before.

Than i have made two antennas out of blue clay, snail eyes are simple but it looks like an antenna with eyes so that's why i also call it antenna.

In last i have placed eyes over the antennas made of black and green clay, (i have used same clay in base too.)

Now in the last step i have added some minor detail on the snail for making it look more attractive. Here i have used yellow clay for making design on the snail body.
