Butterfly Mandala | Creative Sunday

Today, for Creative Sunday, I've created a butterfly mandala, meant to pursue simplicity. I Made it in black so that this mandala conveys message of simplicity and silence, without any additional colors. Butterflies are symbol of change and newness. So, I made it in black to highlight its simplicity and charm.

During creation, each moment was an expression of a new idea and emotion. In every step of mandala I found peace and realization which i was searching from so long in my busy routine. I hope you too will find the comfort in the simplicity and charm of this mandala that I found while creating it. 🥂

Commonly used materials

Paper is usually used to make mandalas, which are available in different colors and types. I just use 21×21cm paper. Moreover i use pointer and marker. A pencil can be used to make a primary sketch.

Procedure
Initially i draw a light circle on the paper that will be the basic outline of the mandala. Within this circle, draw the basic design of the butterfly, such as the wing shapes etc.

Then i highlight pencil work with pointer. And add half circular lines within butterfly by using compass.

Then i start details and patterns to the different parts of the wings. These patterns depend on my own creativity, such as flowers, lines, or other decorative elements.

When wings are done. I Carefully erase the pencil outline with pencil so that only the black mandala is visible.

I move to the circle outside the butterfly.

How i draw circle?

Make a small dot in the middle of the paper, which will be the center of your circle. Place the compass on this point, and set the radius of the circle to your liking.With one side of the compass on the dot, draw the other side on the circle to form a complete circle.
If you want to divide the circle into different parts, draw different lines from the same center that divide the circle into parts.
With the help of these letters you can make a place for the butterfly.

This is the final look.

I have made this Mandala by spending precious time from my busy life and I hope you will like it. Every person gets the fruits of his hard work and I will also get the fruits of my hard work. I know that I am not an artist but there is nothing wrong in appreciating the hard work of a common man.
