Weekly Meetings : Planning the Winter Camp at Fatima Centre

Fatima Centre is one of the largest institutes in Quetta, and it is located on Alamdar Road near Shafa Khan. This is one of the greatest institutes, with about 400 students and over 50 staff members.

This institute is unique not only for its teaching aims, but it also hosts various seminars and society discussions. This facility organizes many sports activities and hiking programs, as well as events for fun and amusement.

This is one of my favorite institutes, and I am honored to be a part of its staff. We, as staff members, attempt to plan weekly meetings and classes for all staff members in order to stay in touch with one another.

We are all aware that the world has become increasingly busy and there is no time for friends and family to get together and discuss various topics. This is the only way to bring all the friends and staff members together in the form of class discussions and meetings.

Every Friday, we hold a meeting and a short discussion class in which all staff members, from the institute's principal to the lower grade Tea boy, are invited to come and discuss every aspect of the institute, including our weaknesses, where we should work, and many other topics.

During this meeting, everyone expressed their opinions. This is then recorded in a register, and we work on all of those areas throughout the week to provide a better solution to all of these concerns.

The principal also shares their opinion for the betterment of the institute and asks for the final results from the teachers and other volunteers regarding their work throughout the week.

Weekly meetings are essential for keeping teachers, staff members, and other volunteers active and ensuring that they complete their tasks on time and with honesty.

Such sessions must be organized to help us cover our weaknesses while also learning about various challenges and how to solve them.

It is fortunate for me that I have some free time this week to attend this meeting and the class discussions. The meeting began at 7:30 p.m. and continued till 8:00 p.m.

During this time, the institute's director held crucial discussions and taught an essential lesson about the institute, and many staff members presented their perspectives and discussions.

In terms of the coming week, the main topic of discussion at this meeting was the planning of the Winter Camp 2024-2025, which will last more than two months.

During this period, around 200 students are given admission, and all staff members and teachers must oversee the entire winter camp, which is not simple as it looks.

There were other conversations during this time, and we tried to be precise while also finding solutions to numerous concerns.

During the meeting, I attempted to photograph some of the staff members, principal, finance member, secretary, and other students who were listening.
