The Vibrant Colors and Cultural Celebrations at the Holy City of Mashad, Iran
After a very long time, if I calculate 5 years, I have the opportunity to visit Mashad, Iran, which is rich in cultural and religious heritage. Among all cities in Iran, Mashad City is my favourite because of its religious beauty and the special occasion lighting.
VISITED MASHAD HARAM COURTYARD AFTER LONG TIME
My good fortune when I arrived in Mashad City was the celebrations and birthdays of Imam a.s. Irani people are more interested in these types of events and do well at them.
When I entered the courtyard haram after a long time, it looked very unique and beautiful to me. When I was here five years ago, there were not many changes, but now there are many. I noticed that the courtyard and walls are beautifully decorated.
Iranians commemorated that day as Prophet Muhammad's birthday anniversary. They colour everything in order to express their love and respect for the prophet. This colour has special meaning for them because it represents tolerance and love.
Colours have special meaning in Iran, and they place a high value on them. Green colour represents tolerance, red colour represents vengeance, and black colour generally indicates that they have lost someone special and are in mourning. There are other colours that are significant to the Iranian people.
COLORS AND DIFFERENT MEANINGS IN IRAN
Different colours are decorated with lights and other cloths in the photos. However, the colours green and white are associated with happiness. Every happy and blessing occasion is marked by the use of green and white colours.
After entering the courtyard, I discovered beautiful colourful views that I felt compelled to photograph and share with you all. That day was very crowded, and I was nervous about taking pictures because, as I mentioned in an earlier post, Iranians are more annoying with cameras and pictures.
Anyway, I tried to take some beautiful photos inside the courtyard and share them with you. The first image shows the green dome of the mosque, which serves as the entry gate to the hsram shrine. This is a lovely entryway with lovely designs on the walls that is very appealing.
Going forward, I discovered a handcrafted design for a birthday celebration. They designed the same shape as Madina in Saudi Arabia to share love with the prophet. They made the same shape because the prophet is buried in Madina, Saudi Arabia.
I've included some more photos of this beautiful location for you to enjoy. I hope you enjoy the photography and the reading. If you enjoyed the post, please leave feedback in the comments section so that the next one is even better. Thank you for sticking with me until the end.
