In the Studio : Recording Noha for Ayam Fatimia
Ayam Fatimia is one of the most important events in my city, particularly in my society, as it is a time for people to share their sadness and sorrow.
First and foremost, for those who are unfamiliar with this festival, let me explain what Ayam Fatimia is and why it is celebrated.
This incident lasted approximately 15 days, during which one of history's greatest personalities, Bibi Fatima Zahra, was slain by harsh and evil characters.
They set fire to their house's doors and kick her till she dies. This is a depressing incident for the Muslim people, which passed in the history.
There are many people who hold this day in high regard because it was the day that the nasty people did their worst and killed this woman.
In addition to celebrating this day, many speak out against this brutality and express their desire to prevent history from happening again.
Ayam Fatimia, which lasts for 15 days, is organized annually for this reason. On this unique day, people honor Hazrat Bibi Fatima by organizing majalis and performing azadari, during which they express their sadness and grief to one another.
They also mourn and pray for the world's oppressed people on this unique day. The entire society is in mourning and sorrow, and they hold majalis in which they discuss the character of this woman and recite Noha to demonstrate their belief and respect for her.
For this occasion, the Fatima Institute also decided to recite a Noha in which her oppressed are described, as well as to raise a voice against the world's oppress people.
Yesterday, some of my friends decided to travel to Hazara town, which is about a half-hour distant from my home, to record a Noha.
The reciters are small children of the Fatimiya center. To be honest, it is not a simple task to gather the kids and give them rehearsals so that they do not make mistakes and perform properly.
It took about seven days to record the Noha, and we finally went to Zia's studio to record it, which took about 1.5 days.
The students execute superbly, and they work hard to avoid making any mistakes when reciting the Noha.
This was one of the most memorable days of the event, so I decided to take pictures to remember it and share them with you.
You can see students reciting Noha in both group and individual modes. At the end of the recording, I invited them to take a group portrait, which will undoubtedly be remembered throughout our lives.
After the recording and photographs were over, we decided to have milk tea and biscuits to thank the students who performed well and worked hard for it.
After drinking the tea, we headed home, which took about half an hour, and that was the end of the day's activities.
