Financial Freedom in Your 20s: Why Schools Must Adapt
A person should attend school or university to become independent at an early age. You should have the idea that you will manage your own business and operate your own home.
Instead, entering the educational field with the intention of serving people or working for any organization is a poor decision. You must not be servant of the departments rather you be the boss of that department.
You must learn in school how to become wealthy in your 20s, not how to retire in your 60s.
Many individuals have told me in their careers that I will have many plans after I retire, so why not start early? Why you not have plans in the early ages, if you do, you are a successful person.
From a young age, schools should teach students about money and how to become wealthy. Beginning at the age of ten, you must learn about investing, saving, and risk management.
Teaching business can encourage kids to create their own firms and accumulate wealth at an early age. This will help them become self-sufficient and will undoubtedly generate income in their youth.
Instead of encouraging in students the desire to become officers, schools should educate them for the job market.
I bet a high-ranking officer is not the same as a low-ranking businessman. The reason for this is that a businessman is always self-sufficient and serves as his own employer.
According to my opinion, financial education should be made mandatory in schools, and teachers should teach students to become self-sufficient at a young age.
I know of a Tehran-based institution whose mission is to teach students how to run their own businesses. They not only teach kids many courses, but also assist them in launching their own businesses at a young age.
