A shopper's paradise on Fridays
Shopping on Friday is fun and enjoyable because there are two weekends ahead and you will have time to shop. Most Asian countries keep their offices open until half past noon and close at 1 p.m.
THE BEAUTIFUL MARKETS OF QOM
However, many markets in my city are closed on Friday, which is considered a business off day. While others remain open for people to do their shopping. In Pakistan, markets are closed on Fridays, which is considered a business holiday.
But when I visited the Iranian city of Qom, I was amazed to see markets open with colourful lights and beautiful items for sale. I travelled to Iran with my family, which is rich in culture and beautiful handcrafted items. I spend my winter vacation in Iran because it is the best time to travel due to the good weather.
That day was Friday, and we decided to go shopping and finish the tasks that we were was given. There are many beautiful items available in Qom city, particularly those made by hand. They are more elegantly designed and more durable.
To be honest, I prefer purchasing Iranian items because they are of high quality and last a long time. Especially when it comes to purchasing dishes, plates, bowls, dinner sets, artificial jewellery, shoes, Qaab, carpet, and other items. The good thing is that these items are reasonably priced and of high quality.
We decided to go to "BAZAR BUZURG SARPOSH," as it is known in Persian. The name is derived from the phrase "Huge Covered Market," and it was chosen because the market is too large to visit and contains a wide variety of human life items. You will find all of your items at reasonable prices in this market.
FINDING HIGH-QUALITY ITEMS AT REASONABLE PRICES
We had previously visited this market and purchased all of our necessities, but this time I was in need of toys, shoes, and steel bowls. The toys were for my children, who annoyed me greatly by buying toys for us. Which I decided to purchase for them in order to silence them.
Other items, such as a steel bowl, were required in that new city for dinner and lunch. When you move to another country, you will need many of these items to get through the day. We were also looking for steel bowls to give as gifts to our relatives.
Shoes, handcrafted bowls, plates, and other sets are more popular in my society, and we use them as gifts for our relatives after a trip. We returned home after purchasing all of the items from the market. When I got home, I calculated how much these items would cost us.
All of these items cost me between 500,000 and 1,000,000 Toman, which is approximately 7500 Pakistani rupees. Which is much cheaper than buying these items in my home country, which would cost me more than 2 million Toman, which is much more expensive, and this is why I prefer Iranian markets over all others.
This is my attempt to provide you with the best photography images available on the market by @dswigle. I hope you enjoy the photography and the reading as much as I do. Affordable prices and lots of choices for shopping, comfortable place. Thank you, greetings.
The prices are much lower than in my country, possibly because their items are made locally rather than imported. Thank you for your feedback.
So beautiful collection of things especially for kids nice to have collect some of things from there. hope you have enjoyed your shopping
I was able to get the items that I required. My favourite collections for children are those that remind me of my childhood.
it's a beautiful market, lots of children's toys there, and also lots of dolls to buy for gifts for girls
A portion of the market is dedicated to children's toys, and there are lots of options for selecting the best toy for children.
How cute the toys are! I am in love with the Hello Kitty stuff that is Baby pink in color. Happy Market Friday my friend and more beautiful moments like
this.
There were more colourful toys, but some of the shops I discovered visited those shops and enjoyed checking out children's toys, which brought back memories of my childhood.
I had no idea that the markets were that far apart in price and quality! I was under the impression they were equal. This is one of the reasons I like #MarketFriday! You have shown me that they are not and you get more milage out of your rupee when you buy in Iran.
I like that you got so many wonderful shots and I am able to see what a market is like there. I am sure your children were pretty happy with your choice of toys. We buy small gifts for relatives when we have been away. I guess it is a popular thing to do. :) We are not much different, are we?
Thank you so much! Your market was fun!
#MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through their markets, especially local markets and farmers' markets, and eventually branched out and evolved over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, and even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact that these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world.
Thank you for being a part of #MarketFriday
