A person does not progress due to his mistakes and faults and becomes a target of failures in his life. We need to correct our mistakes and become a good person in this society. This is the secret of success for all of us, and undoubtedly, these are the things that God wants from us all.

Its always better to focus on to your mistakes and try to correct it. If you can manage then surely you will be among the successful person and also you will be awarded with great blessings.

In today’s post, I will tell you about three major mistakes that are also the secret to our failure. If we focus on these three things, we can definitely live a better life and spend quality time with our family and be a respected person in your society.

During the night of Qadr, I took a lesson from a great scholar and tried to act upon his teachings. Our guest scholar has come from the city of Qom and holds a PhD in various subjects. In connection with Qadr, he was invited to share his knowledge with others and had a three sessions for three days.

I thought it would be a great opportunity to benefit from his knowledge, and whatever I learn, I will share it with you all. The first piece of advice he gave was about controlling anger.

Anger is an element that has become the cause of ruining people’s lives. If anger is not controlled at the right time, it destroys lives. It is like an energy that needs to be controlled.

Sometimes a person gets angry over small matters and, as a result, ruins his relationships and friendships. Anger is a human nature, and both controlling and expressing it are essential. In some situations, anger is absolutely necessary and is a sign of strength.

For example, if someone talks about your honor, religion, property, or rights, or if they want to attack you, this is the perfect time to defend yourself, and that too in the form of anger. If you don’t do this, you will suffer, and you will become dishonorable.

Many people try to attack others’ properties or look at others’ honor with bad intentions; in such cases, you should not suppress your anger but express it as energy and condemn these bad actions.

Apart from this, in most cases, you need to control your anger. If you succeed in doing this, you will achieve success in both this world and the Hereafter.

The second good deed we must do is charity and giving. This is an action that is a universal truth, and God and His servants greatly appreciate it. Whoever speaks about this deed will support it.

As much as possible, financial assistance should be given to the poor in your neighborhood, and the intention should be that with this action, God is pleased. There are many families who have nothing to eat for three meals a day. Similarly, there are many families who do not beg, but their living is extremely difficult.

Now, those who are wealthy should help these poor people. Every person should look for the poor in their society and help them as much as possible. By doing so, poverty will end in the world, and certainly, crime and other evils will naturally disappear from the world.

The third important task we must do is modesty, meaning we need to control our gaze. We need to keep our intentions pure. We should never let ourselves look at others' honor and remain unaware of our own honor.

We should respect others' families and not cast evil eyes on them. We should wish well for them. By doing so, your wife and children will remain safe. Because this is a principle of this world: every action has a reaction.

If you look at other people’s wives with evil intentions, then surely your own family will not remain safe. However, if you show respect, then surely your family will remain safe, and you will be counted among the good people.

These are the three important points that we need to act upon in order to be successful in our lives and also make God pleased with us. Undoubtedly, this post will be beneficial for you and will serve as a good lesson.
