Greetings Hivers, welcome to the Weekly ASEAN Hive "Hot Goss", where I @justinparke dig up false ASEAN Hive rumors and spread even more, but all in satirical fun and support of Southeast Asian content on Hive.

♨️ WEEKLY ASEAN HIVE "HOT GOSS #48 🀫

πŸ›Ί Revolutionary Rides, Edible Bricks, & Pirates Of Malaysia πŸ΄β€β˜ οΈ

Β  Β  Β Do you remember the movie "Back to the Future" and the famous Delorean car within? The car in that movie could run on nearly any fuel, and I used to think it was merely science-fiction until I saw the post from this ASEAN Hiver.
Β  Β  Β SOMEONE IN INDONESIA HAS CREATED A TUK-TUK THAT RUNS ON RICE, and it's nothing short of miraculous. The inventors of this machine passed by our ASEAN Hiver's house and requested some rice to keep this contraption running and moving down the road. @neoseven obliged and helped them, but they were tight-lipped about the technology of their invention, and quickly moved along once they had powered up enough.

Β  Β  Β In Malaysia another interesting new technology has been unvailed. EDIBLE CONSTRUCTION BRICKS ARE THE LATEST HOME TREND, and now every hipster in the country is buying these beauties. The bricks are so beautiful that they are often placed in a very visible location within the home for all visitors to view.
Β  Β  Β When times get tough though, these bricks are full of calories and quite tasty, so basically these are aesthetically pleasing food rations for the Malaysian doomsday prepper. The prices for these edible bricks are now skyrocketing because it has become far too trendy, so many folks are still choosing to buy boring canned foods for their doomsday kits.

Β  Β  Β We're still in Malaysia for this next one, and wow does it warm my heart to see DAVE HAS OFFICIALLY JOINED THE PIRATE CREW, apparently gaining the title "Assistant Swashbuckler," sounds a lot better than first mate to me.
Β  Β  Β This crew met for a lunch to discuss the life of a pirate and all it entails, sign the official paperwork, and practice saying things like "arrrr matey" and whatnot. Dave has been looking for better working conditions for quite a while, so I'm glad to see he finally found his calling as a pirate. Well, Malacca is kind of famous for historical piracy, so perhaps it's in his blood. I am also giving 5% beneficiary to @watusiwoman for making my day complete with a photo of ASEAN Hivers linking up.

Until Next Time ASEAN Hivers....

Β  Β  Β Don't forget that this curation is merely fictional satire, so don't take anything I write too seriously.

Haha, glad you enjoyed this. Funny you mention H&G, my youngest daughter is in love with all the Grimm stories at the moment. Perhaps that is where the seed was planted in my head for this idea πŸ€”. I love seeing you and your wife in the classroom, it makes me miss teaching.

The edible brick, use it to build a house, eat it when hungry, or throw it at your enemies for self-defense πŸ˜‰.
