The ASEAN Hive VIP Lounge hosted its first dance marathon recently, with participants seeing who can dance the longest without collapsing on the dancefloor.

     The 1920s were no doubt the heyday of dance marathons, but that doesn't mean we can't keep a tradition alive here in the ASEAN Hive VIP Lounge. If you already know what a marathon is, a dance marathon isn't much different except for that it has no finish line. The finish line is when you are the last person standing, or dancing in this particular competition. Emergency medical services are available for anyone that may collapse or need some hydration salts and blister patches.

     It is safe to say the quality of the dancing is getting worse and worse as this competition goes on, but as of now there is still no winner because some of you VIPs have not given up despite not even knowing what the prize is. There is no prize greater than bragging rights, or is there? My dad was a coffeeholic (probably still is if he can find coffee at the after life), we used to maintain a very tight nit coffee family ritual, especially between him, myself and my sister. My brother & my mom not so, I don't remember seeing them drinking much coffee all my life. Nevertheless, they're being very supportive to us kopi consumers in the house.

^{(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ)} If you live in Thailand for just a short period of time you will notice that there is one place that you can always count on there being a bunch of stray dogs hanging around. The 7-11's nationwide are a hot spot for dogs to gather at probably because it is open 24 hours a day and provides them with some level of safety. There are always people around and many of the customers will buy buts of food or put down a scrap of whatever they are eating for the hungry doggos to gobble up.
