The current tech trends seem to always be focused on the high-tech world, and almost nobody pays attention to latest low-tech devices and inventions. For this reason I decided the ASEAN Hive VIP Lounge should host the 2024 Low-Tech Expo. Whether it be a highly mechanically complicated Rube Goldberg machine that simply delivers pizza to your facehole or a pancake flipper that may or may not send your flapjacks to the moon, this expo is where you can find such things.
I was most impressed by the Belarussian borscht maker built from spare bicycle parts, but of course the owner must provide the steady supply of cabbage. The Pinoy Pedal-Powered Paddy Plower also captured the attention of expo visitors, and although hard to say the name, it has proven itself to be a very effective lightweight not-tractor. I would also like to thank @gooddream for his ingenious Automated Automotive Blinker Fluid Refiller, something that I can use when working on my Malaysian Proton hypercar. Also, expo guests are encouraged to check out these five awesome posts from each of our VIP tiers.....
Some random pics of my ever-hungry doggo, Nadi
by: @gooddream - ASEAN HIVE VIP DIAMOND(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ) I think that all dogs share this common characteristic of always being hungry. Unless it is fruit or a stupid vegetable, Nadi (my dog) always wants some of whatever anyone is eating. If we are in one of the many pubs that I take her to on a regular basis and someone is eating anything, she will sit near them and stare at them in the hopes that they are going to give her some of it. She is cute enough that this tactic frequently works and I have to monitor her in public because some people will give her an entire pizza crust even though she is so smol.
Dumb furniture ideas in DaNang, Vietnam
by: @gabe.radke - ASEAN HIVE VIP 💿 PLATINUM(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ) A lot of places around here try to differentiate their establishments by having different furniture. Something iconic and memorable will suffice. Other places go for the stock standard chairs and tables whereas others, as I have been told, rent their furniture from a place that leases furniture to restaurants specifically because most restaurants don't know if they are going to be able to stay in business so if they go under, they don't have to actually sell the furniture, they just sell it back (sort of) to the place that they acquired it from.
Today's stories and various activities as well.
by: @newhope1988 - ASEAN HIVE VIP 👑 GOLD(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ) Today is another day that I think is a very worthwhile use of time. Starting early in the morning, waking up to prepare food and sending the children to school. After that, I came back to do housework, which today has a lot of homework. At 10:00 a.m., my husband and I went out to the market to buy vegetables to prepare for cooking for the next few days. This was the first time that there were no vegetables left in the refrigerator except fresh chilies, haha. Haha.
A weekend escape to Dingalan Aurora, The Batanes of the East my #wednesdaywalk that #makesmesmile
by: @aideleijoie - ASEAN HIVE VIP 🥈 SILVER(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ) Nestled on the eastern coast of Luzon lies a hidden gem waiting to be discovered – Dingalan, Aurora, often dubbed as the "Batanes of the East." because of their similarities. Batanes and Dingalan they said, have the same mountain landscapes and ocean scenery. When we hear of Aurora on top of our mind is Baler, famously known as the surfing capital of the Philippines. Little did people know this quaint coastal town offers breathtaking landscapes, thrilling adventures, and unforgettable experiences for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers alike.
Benefits of Guayavano
by: @crazygal - ASEAN HIVE VIP 🥉 BRONZE(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ) Health is wealth and I am aware about my health even before. Living in this mountain is a blessing in disguise. I am comfortable with the weather and environment. The students are respectful and follow all the instruction by only one command and there is no need to say the words again. Another blessings in this place are the organics foods from the garden including different kinds of local fruits. Since then, I oblique the students to plants fruits and tree to prevent us from landslide most especially that we are living in the slope of the mountains

It's so cool to see a focus on low-tech innovations. The expo sounds fascinating, especially the inventive borscht maker and pedal-powered plower. Thank for always sharing
Thankfully a little AI tech doesn't hurt in the creation of posts like this, haha.
Absolutely doesn't hurt at all brother
