May 25th, 2024Here we are again with a new raffle folks, and this week didn't see too much activity in regards of new delegations. There was a new 50 HP delegation by @vinzie1, but if I remember correctly, he is already muted for failing to engage with the content of his fellow ASEAN Hivers after multiple repeated suggestions to do so. He is still eligible for the weekly and daily raffles however, so I thank him for contributing to the sustainability of ASEAN Hive in this way.
As for me, I think I am still on the longest dry spell of not posting from my blog, and I miss making posts very much. The construction of our lodge building has kind of consumed my days lately, and as ASEAN Hive is a Hive priority for me, when I am running late on curation posts I can't justify worrying about my personal blog despite it being very profitable compared to my weekly 250 HIVE salary that I take for my ASEAN Hive duties. I am hopeful though that we will be able to finish our lodge within the next few months and be able to handle larger numbers of guests.
There is nearly $3,000 HBD in the community ASEAN Hive savings account, and with this now comes an investment opportunity for ASEAN Hive delegators. I would love to build a bungalow or buy a pre-fab shippable chalet and offer it to you all in a very unique way. I would love to create a Hive-Engine token that will basically function as a timeshare token for the potential bungalow. My idea so far is to dispense 182.5 of these tokens per year, exactly half of 365, the number of days in a year. Half of the year could be used for my family and I to earn an income from the bungalow and the other half available for timeshare tokens to be used. Delegators would receive timeshare tokens at the end of each months according to their total delegation share, and token holders would be free to use and/or trade them as they like. What do you all think?

How The VIP Delegator Raffle Works
Every raffle I tally the total HP delegated to the @asean.hive curation account, and one raffle ticket is allocated for each HP delegated by you ASEAN Hivers (excluding [me] @justinparke, @srey-yuu, @sakana & @sreypov), with a minimum delegation of 50 HP to be eligible for the ASEAN Hive VIP 🥉 BRONZE Raffle.
There are five separate raffles, one for each VIP tier, and each tier's prize is a post beneficiary status equivalent to the tier's total percentage of raffle tickets allocated. This means the percentages of each tier's share of the prize is fluid, and I think it makes the raffle more fun and fairer.
This week's total effective HP is 170,209, and total delegated HP is 155,766 HP (120,127 HP minus ASEAN team member delegations & delegations under 50 HP), so I plugged the numbers into my Raffle Picker iOS app, selected "pick winners," and the results were instantly and randomly calculated.
