Greetings ASEAN Hivers, this week's challenge is all about motorcycle trips, whether far or near, and whether alone or with the whole family sharing one moto.

     Motos are found absolutely everywhere in Southeast Asia, and in many parts the humble motorbike serves as the family car, often hauling 4-6 people. My family has no car, only a tuk-tuk and motorbikes, so most of our trips are taken by moto, whether it be to the nearest market 40km away or on longer trips to far-off towns. Folks without a motorbike here in Cambodia often hire a moto taxi to commute in big cities because they aren't held up in traffic like tuk-tuks and cars.

     For this challenge show me the motorbike, the driver, passenger(s), destination, distractions, anything you feel is relevant information for your motorcycle trip post. My oldest daughter is getting more and more confident on her moto, so I hope to go on some multi-day trips with her, although probably not soon enough for this challenge. Any elephants encountered on your motorcycle trip will certainly be worth documenting, but remember, safety first!!

My family and I are vegan, so tofu and pasta are things we have combined, but I was quite surprised to see a dish like this from an ASEAN Hiver. We have different cooking styles, so I found her post quite entertaining, because I love to see different ways of making the same dish. At first, I thought of cooking tofu with some veggies, but since my daughter really loves pasta dishes and it's her rest day from work today, I finally decided to cook this dish. It is one of her comfort foods. And, I was right! She was very happy! And since she is free, she helped me in preparing the ingredients and took step by step photos on how I prepare the ingredients and how I cooked it.
