Half-Life: This is a game, an antique jewel that still shines!

One day I woke up and said, I want to play Half Life and then I checked to see if I had it and after 3 hours of downloading because my internet was a little bad, I entered and no doubt OMG!!! What memories playing this work of art! It's literally cinema! But in game hahaha, I really wanted to play it and bring you my humble experience after 17 years after playing it, when I had one of those white PCs and when the internet didn't even exist in the area where I lived.

Pure nostalgia, ladies and gentlemen, a game that if you haven't played it I highly recommend it.

Un día me levanté y dije, tengo ganas de jugar Half Life y pues revise a ver si lo tenía y luego de 3 horas de descarga porque mi internet estaba algo malo, entre y sin duda OMG!! ¡Qué recuerdos el jugar a esta obra de arte! ¡Literalmente es cine! Pero en juego jajaja, en fin la verdad tenía muchas ganas de jugarlo y de traerles mi humilde experiencia luego de 17 años después de haberlo jugado, cuando tenía una PC de esas blancas y cuando ni el internet existía en la zona donde vivía.

Pura nostalgia, señores y señoritas, un juego que si no lo han jugado te lo recomiendo muchísimo.

A little history, Half-Life came out in the year I was born, 1998, and is considered one of the best games in history, besides being the father of one of the most famous games of today, as this emerged as a MOD of Half-Life, I speak of Counter Strike, but well that's another story, I have to say that this game has had different versions after its original release, which I got to play the first version where the characters were horrible hahaha, then the updated version where they had updated weapons, skins and different little things that improve the gameplay, I also played the PS2 version which honestly was complicated to play with control hahaha and finally being a remake of the saga, the game called Black Mesa, which is the most current version and with better graphics, gameplay being a better version.

This game has different DLC which you can play and which tell the story from different perspectives and are very worth playing.

Un poco de historia, Half-Life salió en el año en el que yo nací, 1998, y es considerado uno de los mejores juegos de la historia, además de ser el padre de uno de los juegos más famosos de hoy en día, ya que este surgió como un MOD de Half Lfife, hablo del Counter Strike, pero bueno esa es otra historia, he de decir que este juego ha tenido diferentes versiones después de su salida original, la cual llegue a jugar la primera versión donde los personajes eran horribles jajaja, luego la versión actualizada donde habían actualizado las armas, las pieles y diferentes cositas que mejoran la jugabilidad, también jugué la versión de PS2 que honestamente era complicado jugar con control jajaja y por último siendo un remake de la saga, el juego llamado Black Mesa, el cual es la versión más actual y con mejores gráficos, jugabilidad siendo una versión mejor.

Este juego cuenta con diferentes DLC los cuales puedes jugar y que cuentan la historia desde diferentes perspectivas y que valen mucho la pena jugarlas.

As for the story of the game, I think we all know it hahahah, but if not I tell you a little summary, our protagonist named Gordon Freeman, is a scientist at Black Mesa, a secret scientific organization which operate in the deserts of New Mexico, Gordon begins his day arriving at the facility to start with a top secret experiment, where we must use some alien samples found, in this way seek to experiment with these, but everything goes wrong and after introducing these samples into the review rays, mistakenly open a portal to a planet called Xen ultradimensional, where the aliens begin to cross it to reach the earth and start killing everyone.

En cuanto a la historia del juego, creo que todos lo sabemos jajaj, pero de no ser así te cuento un pequeño resumen, nuestro protagonista llamado Gordon Freeman, es un científico de Black mesa, una organización científica secreta el cual operan en los desiertos de Nuevo México, Gordon comienza su día llegando a las instalaciones para comenzar con un experimento ultrasecreto, donde debemos usar unas muestras alienígenas encontradas, de esta forma buscar experimentar con estas, pero todo sale mal y tras introducir estas muestras dentro de los rayos de revisión, por error abren un portal ultradimensional a un planeta llamado Xen, donde los alienígenas comienzan a atravesarlo para llegar a la tierra y comenzar a matar a todos.

Gordon Freeman, se da la tardea de salir a la superficie para pedir ayuda al gobierno o a los militares, pero estos terminan siendo otro problema para él, ya que les ordenan eliminar a todos los involucrados en este experimento y erradicar esta organización, además de encubrir este problema, desde allí él toma la decisión de ir al portal principal que se encuentra en otro complejo llamado Lambda, para ir a Xen y poner fin a esto, pero le tocara vivir un sin fin de cosas muy extremas e incluso conocerá a unos de los seres más misteriosos de los videojuegos Gman

Playing this game again after 17 years without playing it was like a trip back in time, despite the existence of different improved versions, I decided to go back to the first one and the truth is that I felt like a kid, going through the office complexes, the dark ducts where those annoying bugs jumped out, the extreme parkour and seeing Gman in different areas and then disappearing through the facilities.

Volver a jugar a este juego después de 17 años sin jugarlo fue como un viaje en el tiempo, a pesar de existir diferentes versiones mejoradas, decidí volver a la primera de todas y la verdad que me sentí como un niño, volver a recorrer los complejos de oficinas, los ductos oscuros donde salían esos bichos molestos que saltaban, los parkour extremos y ver a Gman en diferentes zonas para luego desaparecer por las instalaciones.

Recuerdo tener un montón de juegos en la PC en esa época, donde el internet no llegaba a mi zona e ir a los cybercafe era una opción para copiar el acceso directo y traerlo en un pendrive para darte cuenta de que no abre jajajja, pero bueno la primera vez que vi este juego en un cyber fue cuando tenía como 6 años, pero lo jugué cuando tenía 8 años, incluso me asustaba mucho algunas zonas oscuras y cuando llegue a zonas de otro planeta era muy difícil entender, pero aprendí a los golpes y hoy en día me considero un novato todavía jajaja.

Today I see it as a simple game, but with a very interesting story, but difficult to understand, still very much worth playing and I speak of its different versions, on the other hand, I remember that this game had a very intelligent NPCs, but very rough, also the artificial intelligence of some beings such as cockroaches were very advanced for its time.

Hoy en día lo veo un juego sencillo, pero con una historia muy interesante, pero difícil de entender, aun así vale muchísimo la pena jugarlo y hablo de sus diferentes versiones, por otro lado, recuerdo que este juego contaba con unos NPC muy inteligentes, pero muy toscos, también la Inteligencia artificial de algunos seres como las cucarachas eran muy avanzadas para su época.

Literally this is a game and I will enjoy playing its DLC and completing the campaign in record time if I can of course hahaha.

Although I haven't finished it, but I plan to hahaha, get to where this boss where we have to do silence to pass hahaha.

Literalmente esto sí es un juego y disfrutaré mucho jugar sus DLC y completarme la campaña en tiempo récord si puedo claro jajaja.

Aunque no lo he terminado, pero pienso hacerlo jajaj, llegue hasta donde este jefe donde debemos hacer silencio para pasar jaja.
