Shopping Spree to Boosting my Earning

Hello guys, I am Arveno and want to share my weekly Journey as a new Mayor in Dcity game. I am still learning how to play this game. I am starting to understand how to play this game. But as in only surface. I dont quite understand to expert level of this game. Yeah it is good to be step by step i guess. In this content i want to share my weekly report. I want to make sure with this content my city is growing at least.

After a week reading and learning how to play by copying my friends @ramadhanight and @dewabrata that playing this game. I am starting to understand some of speck of the card. But, it still makes me confused how to make the balancing in my city. It is not quite simple. Need to having good strategy to play this game. Fortunately i have sparing earning everyweek so i can boosting my SIM token everyweek. And as usual similar with other game. If i play it at least i need to know how to manage the earning system and make it worth playing it. Thats why i am totally learning and want to make my city better and get good earning everyday.
My target milestone still same that is 150 SIM token everyday. And for the SIM token my target is to be a SIMilionaire. Maybe not today maybe not tomorrow but i am sure that one day i will get there.

Okay before i am doing shopping spree. I already buying SIM token and having around 82k SIM token. And my earning is just 50 SIM at that time.And today i want to upgrade my cards and get more earning. My target is getting 70 SIM/day at least. So, i am starting to browsing in market. And the first target that i buy is Basic Home

I buy 5 cards with total spending 12,735 SIM token. And then i think i need more, so i continue browsing the market again and watching my status change. And from there i kinda understand that my Wind Turbine needed Population to get the earning. And after that i am guess that i need to adding popularity to be a good city. But, back again i dont know what the function of the popularity means. If you know what it is and the scheme about it please kindly tell me in the comment. Okay after that i am buying Hard Worker why because i see this card gives 1 population and 1 income. Yeah i just trying to chasing improving my income first. But i dont know how. After buy this cards my income still at 50. I dont know it is just laggy and need waiting to update or it is not work at all.

I buy 5 cards for Hard Worker. After that i still feel that my earning still not to be 70 SIM/day. I think it need to wait a little bit to update and i dont have patient so i am still browsing again in the market. And this time i buy Hacker

And for Hacker i just bought 3 cards. Actually i want to buy 5 cards. But the 2 cards price is jump to be 6k SIM/ card that why i am not buying the 2 cards. I just curious what happened if i buy Hacker since adding 1 creativity and 1 education. After that i still browsing again and decided to make my SIM token be 50K for this week. So i can get more next week. And the next card that i buy is Workers

I am not paying attention when buying this card since i am still browsing the market and just buy all of them. But, i think it is okay even the price is up to 300% than the lowest price. Considered that i am just unlucky this time because my carelessness. I choose this Workers because this card adding 1 income and also 1 population. That needed for my wind turbine. And next week my target is all my wind turbine can active. Then i reading my friend post talking about increasing tax refund here Of course after i seeing my token still enough. I want to try it

And it turns out that i got cheaper than my friends got. 2k cheaper. I think it is good idea. After that browsing once again and want to stop my shopping until i see Eco Activist card price was down. I remember the last week the price is still above 2k SIM. So i decided to adding Eco Activist and buy it.

And i buy 5 cards again since the price is under 2k SIM. And this is the last cards that i buy for today.

And after the shopping spree. I think my city starting to change. I dont quite understand why the income still minus. And the good part the population is going to 83 and the popularity still minus. Maybe next week i will raising my income till 100 SIM token first then i am starting to make Popularity to be a positive. But i dont understand that the popularity is needed to be positif or not?
I have 3 education and 3 Creativity. And my SIM token just leaving by 35k. I better saving again next week and limiting my shopping spree until reaching 50k SIM token.

Looking at the map i think my city starting to grow with some variant. Hopefully next week is going to be better.

And i am shocked that after waiting a little bit, the income is change to be 80 SIM/day. That quite a lot of improvement. That makes me going to ranking 238 and i am now above my 2 friends that playing this game. Thats really great. But, back again, if dou you guys having way to make my city going better and having idea or thought. You can share and drop in comment. I am very happy to learn about this game.
