Revenge or Hobby?

Hi, I am Arveno from Surabaya city. in this content i want to share my experience about me and my brother hobby right now.
I will tell you story of me and my brother childhood memories first.
I am born at 1989. At that time, i can said that my parents is not too rich but cannot said that we are poor either. We are in middle low class in society. Since I don't feel deprived at all for my needs and i can going to school. At that time the poor category if the kid cannot going to school. So, yeah we are above poor people. But, as i said my family still struggling to keep up with the daily need. For food, monthly bill,water and electricity bill, and many more. At that time i dont know at all. But when i am starting to grow up my mother sometimes told the actual story at that time. Especially the financial problems hit my family when monetary crisis happened. I think many people that same age with me experiencing the same thing with me.
Okay come back when i was a kid. I am kinda similar with my son right now, i dont really like toys like action figure or toys that for just in display that cannot be played with. At that time i want to having toys like dinousaur that can moving or even hot toys. But, it never fulfilled. My parents always avoiding my tantrum and always said that they dont have money or they will said they need to paid my school tuition. Always like that. And it happened to all my brother too. So, we barely have toys in our storage. But, it is not like we are never get toys. We still got toys, but the cheap ones, and it not what we wanted basically, thats why we never played it and just throw away on storage box. And this is the nuke for us. Ahh anyway i forgot to tell you guys. FYI i am having 3 little brothers. So that makes me a four brotherhood.
Even if you know about Playstation, me and my brother saving from yearly income when we got hong bao after Chinese New Year. We save little by little around 2 years until we can buy the Playstation one at that time.
And long story short. we never got what toys we wanted till we growing adult and some of us getting married. After we are married, the revenge started. We already have own money to spend, so sometimes we are spending our money to buy some toys that we are never get when we are kids.
I just realized that my brother toys collection can buy second car.

And this is just a little part that i get the picture, actually there is another 4 display cabinet with full of toys. And this is just one row, and there is another 4 rows each display cabinet.
I take this picture because my brother let me take the picture. He doesnt want those toys leaked to social media because people that know toys will labeled my brother as rich person and started to licking my brother. Thats why he avoided those picture leak on social media, i already got permit to share in Hive since there is really rare my family that playing this platform so i can considered it as safe social media for my family.

And you know what, it turns out the 3 of us loving collecting toys, and the last one still love collecting something but he just love collecting skin or weapon in game on his phone like Mobile legends or else i dont know too much about that. And for me yeah i am loving collecting plants, toys (especially the mini toys or mini figures),One piece action figures, and actually NFT on web3. And my first brother, yeah the picture that i shared is his toys, he collecting from Kamen Rider action figure, Digimon action figures, Marvel Hot toys action figures, and many more. And the last brother, he is collecting and making costume for coslay, since he is working as cosplayer and also renting the costume too. Also he collecting many marvel and DC action figures. Maybe in the next holiday i will ask him to taking picture of his collection. Both costume and toys.

And when we are together we are often discussing about our hobby. We are suspecting that we are doing revenge since from kid we are never get what we wanted. But, my mom always denying and always said that she already bought us toys. And you know what, after unpacking old things, we found out that my own mother collecting toys too. I dont know in other country, but in my country since 1990, our country McDonalds always selling Happy Meal that contain toys as bonus and can be collectable. From Scoopy country figures, Hercules figures, Tarzan figures, McDonalds event figures, and many more. And if me and my brother started to counting the total that my mom collecting maybe she can buy new car than buying this Mcdonalds burger with toys inside. Thats quite funny right. It turns out that this hobby is hereditary from the ancient. And fyi, my mom once told us about my grandfather, that he also collecting too, But it like motorcycle and car sparepart that he collecting. Similar to us. So do you think this is our revenge from unfulfilled inner child or this is just our hobby that heredity from my mother. Ahhh before i forgot, my dad also a collector similar with my grandfather. He collecting carpentary tools from manual till the modern. And also he loves collecting air riffle. I dont know he already sell all the air riffle or he still collecting in silent. Since my mom said that when my father died all his children dont know where to sell those air riffle. And we are never play with air riffle.
So, my conclution is maybe this is our hobby. Collecting toys as stress release. And i really like toys photography even though i am not really good taking picture.
