Pros and Cons of Rainy Days: How Wet Weather Affects Us

Hi, I am Arveno and i am from Surabaya city Indonesia. I want to make content about The Pro and Cons about rainy days in my city. Sometimes when rain there are so much home activity that can make me enjoying the entire day with happily. But, as you know that life is equal and balancing. Always having cons too when rainy days.

Okay maybe this pro is not related to people that living in 4 season country. But, if you are living in 2 season that only having dry season and Wet season like Indonesia. I think you can related with what i said for this Pros.
The first pro is

1. Enjoying Serene Atmosphere

You can enjoying a serene atmosphere especially when you are hanging out in coffee shop while working or reading or writing or the important ones is creating idea is kinda pleasing our heart and feeling. Also if you are broken hearted too. You can enjoying the rain in Coffee Shop alone and dive into a wounded heart till finding the motivation back again.

2. Can feel Gentle Breeze combined with Sunny Day

Altough everyday is raining. But,sometimes the weather is just cloudy and showing up the little bit sunlight in the morning till before afternoon. But that time is like golden time when we can enjoying sunlight with gentle breeze. That time is really good when we are doing some excercise like jogging,calisthenic,gym,and many more. We can enjoying tea time while reading books too in that time. Or when we have free time we can enjoying sleeping with gentle breeze. not too hot and not to cold. Just warm.

3. Best time to cuddling

Rainy days is the right time for having partner for life and doing cuddling. In Indonesia we still have unspoken rules that we cannot sleep together as woman and man before married. It will inappropriate. But, if you are already married,this is the right time to makes baby or just cuddling and warming each other. Especially while enjoying cuddling we can watching netflix together. This is the best moment doing that.

4. The Warm food is more delicious

I dont know this is related or not. But, this is from my experience. I feel warm food or soupy food kinda feel more delicious than when eating in dry season. My conclusion is maybe because the temperature is colder then my body wants to feel warm from inside. Thats why after eating warm food especially the soupy food like instant noodles called Indomie is more delicious. Um, maybe you guys did not know about Indomie i will make content about this instant noodles that really famous in late 2020 till now.

And now i will tell you why i dont like when rainy days!! When comes Pro always having cons in other side right.

1. It can makes us easily Sick

I dont know what the related behind why every time rainy days hits always makes me and my family easily got sick. My conclutions is because the rain makes all dust combined with germs and virus that stay in ground will be droplet that can stick on clothes,shirts,jacket, or even skins. And when the germs or the virus entering our body from nose or mouth it can makes us sicks. Or the second conclutions is the temperature makes our body confused how to handle the swing and will make drop our antibody. And the virus or germs inside our body can easily breed and infected our body. And the bad things when kids got sicks in rainy days. It really annoying and very troublesome.

2. Flood Everywhere

I dont know in another country. But, in my country flood is one of the routine disaster that happened in Rainy season. The reason of flood in my country is because many people did not realized that throwing trash everywhere especially the plastic ones can hinder the waterway to ocean and it will make the water stop. And then the flood cannot be avoided. The second reason because the drainage system in my country is not good at all. Many developer did not thinking about the drainage system outside the housing area. And since you guys know that in Indonesia the goverment still having corrupt system, it will make the improvements about the drainage will be super slow. And maybe this is the one reason too why many people sick when rainy days. The flood can be a place for germs and virus to be contagious.

3. Make Lazy to work

The Rainy days will makes the vibes to sleep and chill out. It really makes our nerves to be relax all day long and feels sleepy all day long. Especially when the breeze is gentle and the rain is not hard only drizzling. That vibes is really make really lazy to do anything. If you want to felt that. You just try going to Bali Indonesia when the end of the year until May. Usually the rainy season still there. Beach side with breeze gentle wind and hearing sound of waves and drizzling rain accompanied by hot coffee. That is like Heaven on Earth.

4. The Laundry Hard to dry

As you know Indonesian people still using Sunlight as main resource to make the laundry dry. And when rain comes everyday and makes the sunlight cannot came out. It will make the laundry hard to dry and that will make many people need having a spare clothes. And that means need to sapre some expenses for clothes right. Thats why i hate the Rainy Days.

5. Cannot Having Fun in Outdoor Place

In Indonesia many tourism Spot is outdoor. Like amusement Park,Beach,Park,some of Tourism Destination. And when comes rainy days. It will be uncomfortable to enjoying this place. So little place to take shelter from rain and you will get wet. And while wet, it will make us cold. So overall that will make very uncomfortable to going place like that. Especially going to zoo in Rainy Days. It is like useless. We cannot see the animals since they are in shelters. And we got wet. Maybe the animals looking at us and said how stupid human wet while looking the animals.

However, We can't avoid the rainy season. So, what can i do is enjoying both pro and cons about rainy season. Sometimes i feel mad when rain comes. Sometimes i enjoying so much when rain comes. Especially when i needed to be at home all day. it is really perfect when the rain comes. So, i can enjoying playing games, or working,or even better cuddling with my wife and playing with my son while the rains makes the gentle breeze.And that is my content for today.
