Olivi The Brook New Reward Rebellion Edition

Today i want to share about Olivia The Brook new reward card from rebellion edition. And yeah this content will change a lot since the last post. But, i think it is okay since this is like new and refreshing the content everyweek yeah??

Okay lets talk about the basic first. I dont know why but in Splinterland Universe, in every edition always the epic card that having pretty good ability and can be a overpowered monster in meta. Like this one Olivia of The Brook. This monster cost 6 mana that is kind of average manacost. Not too much but not too low. And this monster having 2 type attack that is magic type attack and melee type attack. Usually the Melee type attack cannot be used if do not have ability like sneak or opportunity. But, in this case, this monster have it. So, it will make this monster hunting down the lowest health monster first. And it can be very dangerous if we playing 1 health monster to be targeted by melee monster since this monster having magic type attack that can direct hit to health not attacking armor first. But, for your information. Even though this monster is kinda like over powered. But, this monster is really hard to use in the battle. This monster have weakness that is speed that below average. And also this monster having low health. Yeah we need to arrange it properly and hide this monster perfectly. So, what makes this monster really overpowered again? not the double type attack by the way.
But this

Yeah Mimic the ability that can copy opponent monster ability in the next round. Not always but having chance to copy it. And that is really savage you know. Imagine that the you having good RNG, it will copying every turn and give the best ability opponent have. And while combined with 2 type attack plus opportunity. It will really beast monster in the late game.

Strengths

Talking about strengths or advantage, this monster is having pretty complex ability that can make opponent hardly guessing the new meta. Like in some ruleset like Up Close and Personal that both players can only using melee monster (including double type attack) or Equal Opportunity or Super Sneak. But, mostly this monster very good in up Close and Personal. Since the old meta is using combination of Death element combined with Astral Entity that giving dodge that very effective to melee and range type attack. So, with Olivia of The Brook that having magic type attack too. It will easily defeat opponent that bring 1 health monster like Ever Hungry Skull or Dumackle Orc

Weakness

And talking about weakness, this monster does not have great total attack. So,it will not killing instantly and need to going late game to make this monster stronger and stronger. And usually in Splinterland Universe creating Late game play is really hard. Usually player will think how to make the battle as fast as possible and get winning. Not to make late game and make 1 monster become over powered. And thats why covering Olivia of The Brook in early game is really hard. And with 6 manacost, we need to utilize the taunt monster or tanker with low manacost to covering this monster. And we need to think how to utilize Martyr abilities to help this monster get buff. And many player know it very well that buff think is really hard. Especially when opponent bringing dispel ability monster that can resetting the buff we got.

I dont have many recap of this monster battle. But, i have just one battle that make me winning to opponent that using Olivia of The Brook. And in this battle you can see that it will be very hard to using and creating new meta using this monster.

Conclution

So, in the end. I need to say that this monster is still need to maxed out and must have!!! In some ruleset this monster can really overpowered. Especially in some ruleset that makes bot player need to be playing till very late game like 10-15 round plus. That will make this monster be a really beast. Especially this monster having one ability that cover Mimic ability that is Opportunity. Sometimes this ability can really helpfull to destroying opponent strategy. Even thought this monster cannot be lethal but it can helping the other team mates monster to make opponent key monster defeated first. So, i said that this monster still needed and must have collection. Especially epic rarity that very hard to collect than legendary rarity.
