I do not consider myself a watch connoisseur but I have definitely started to take a keen interest in buying decent watches for my collection. I have almost committed myself to buying a decent piece of watch every single year and have already started an investment plan for my goal. But what is important for me is to choose a nice Watch for my Budget and increase my watch collection slowly but surely.

Now because of me constantly on the lookout for proper watch that I could buy this year I am constantly being targeted by Ads and there has been one such watch brand that has been on almost every single page which is ARGOS.

Truth be told at a first glance I was really impressed with these watches and the price point they were offering them at but as usual I did look out for some reviews and almost most of them came out to be a positive one and I couldn’t find a single bad review about the Watch brand and that was a little concerning for me. But still I was ok with having no bad reviews about this watch brand and just started to accumulate money so that I could buy this watch.

But while I was waiting for me to accumulate money one of my friends bought a watch from the same brand and his experience was not good at all. According to him the watch was just a bad investment for him as the watch face got scratched just after a week of use and the watch leather strap was just itchy forever. So yeah I have definitely skipped buying this watch brand but it goes to show that Brands do invest a lot of money in targeted ads and even till date this brand targets me as their potential customer as I am still searching for my new watch.

PS - I am not saying the watch brand is bad and delivers bad goods but it is just not for me as what they are marketing is not what they are selling.
