Violet Orange Yellow Sky Gouache Study Painting

Hi, Sketchbook community!

This is another sky gouache study painting that I enjoy doing.

Paintbrushes I use

• Flat brush
• Round brush
• Fine line brush
• Filbert brush

Blending of Colors

Violet - Using a flat brush, paint violet on the top
Red Orange - Using a flat brush, paint red-orange after violet, blend violet and red-orange
Orange - Using a flat brush, paint orange after red-orange, blend red-orange and orange
Yellow Orange - Using a flat brush, paint yellow-orange after orange, blend orange and yellow-orange.

It is amazing how the colors blended. The colors are popping.

Next, draw a circle in the lower right.

After the white circle, it's time to paint a silhouette of grasses using a fine-line brush. After the grasses, I painted a silhouette of a tree with branches.

When the tree and its branches were done to paint, it was time to paint the leaves. I was using Filbert brush to imitate the leaves.

To finalize the painting, I painted some birds.
