The Only Life Hack You'll Need Against Bad Luck, the Devil and Demons! (LOH # 135)
Many people don't know how they can avoid being under the invisible spell of the devil and demons. Whichever name the bad spirits go by, (Satan, elementals, Belzebub, fallen angels, or whatever) it is no match for the life hack that you will learn today! 💪
Why am I sharing this? Well Ladies of Hive community asked about a life hack that's life changing. And what is more life changing than being safe from all the sinister beings in our world?
All you will read below has helped me a lot, my life definitely changed for the better! Now everything feels easier and lighter. No more super bad luck too! I didn't think doing these would change anything but it truly did! If you read my previous posts (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3) you will understand what I'm talking about.
Are you ready to find out the "secrets" most people are unaware of? Truly I had no idea about these before. Only when I asked and found things online did I know what to do.
Do you want to have an invisible armor around yourself and your loved ones against every evil in this world? Well then, let's start!
But First, Here's a Warning or Disclaimer For All
Below are some of the shortcuts I used and learned from Catholic exorcist priests and other priests online. I tell you these things so that evil beings will leave you alone. Use all of these and be free from evil. But then again if you continue to sin and do bad things to yourself and others, the devil will come back to you with a vengeance.
I used to pray a lot but just normal prayers and it felt like it had no effect. Nothing at all! But then I played the songs once or twice and wow I noticed finally something changed! But still it wasn't enough. I had to pray the 3 prayers below and more in order to finally be safe and secure!
Repentance, confession and going to mass regularly is also important! In truth, if you only pray and don't do any internal change in your daily life, the protection will only be temporary. As mentioned the malevolent beings will make your life harder as a form of revenge.

If you have read my 3 part blogs linked above, you'll know I was really not doing well at all a year or so since the pandemic. And then I discovered all I've shared here, plus I became a better Catholic so now everything is so much nicer than before. Praise God. 🙏
I finally feel and live more peacefully like nothing bad ever happened. Of course my life is still not perfect but it is rosier than before.
So without further ado, here's what you can do!
Call on God and Pray these Prayers!
This is the most important step of them all: ask God for help. Even if one does not ask for forgiveness of sins or repentance yet before praying, it is still acceptable.
Remember these are "shortcuts" or life hacks. Actually you can do these 3 things last and do the ones after these first. It doesn't matter the order as long as your intention is to be safe from bad luck, depression, mental health issues, financial problems or even illnesses caused by malevolent spirits.
As mentioned, praying these doesn't mean one should continue living a sinful life. Again, calling on the Lord is always the first step in order to be safe from all the evil of this world. Generally this is the case. 😉
Let me repeat, you can start with the songs down below or do these 3 prayers before anything else.
What to pray? Here's a few that definitely helped me.
1. Prayer against every evil, prayer of deliverance
The first prayer is from the late Fr. Gabriele Amorth's book. He was the Chief Exorcist from the Diocese of Rome. It is said it's best prayed with an Our Father and the St. Michael the Archangel prayer.
The second one, I can't find the exact source except for the website I linked.
N stands for your name. | Screenshot source
2. Consecration of our belongings to Mama Mary.
There are two versions online but this one is composed by Fr. Chad Ripperger, FSSP, an American exorcist. He based it from the well-known St. Louis De Montfort's total consecration prayer to the Blessed Virgin Mary.

3. Last but not the least!
Apparently, this powerful prayer can also be found in the Catholic Handbook of Deliverance Prayers by Fr. Jose Francisco "Jocis" C. Syquia. The Director of the Archdiocese of Manila Office of Exorcism. This can be bought via St. Pauls Bookstore here in the Philippines. (Or visit the bookstore website to buy it.)
Alternatively, for Filipinos you can also add and pray this:
If You Feel It's Not Enough, Oh But Wait There's More!
Now as mentioned, the above are just some of the prayers you can say. After you sincerely and honestly pray them, definitely you will notice something.
If you only have a minor influence from the devil or demons, all of the above can definitely help anyone. However if you are deeply entrenched and blinded by them, it will take more than that to be free. An example of a major influence is demonic possession. That can only be resolved by an exorcism from a Roman Catholic priest.
Anyway, whether you are a Christian or not, I invite you to try the above prayers and see what happens. You can even add the Lord's Prayer, Apostle's Creed, Hail Mary's and Glory Be's.
And here's the bonus. This is another "secret" that will make the devil/demons flee from you. Any Catholic priest (or probably even deacons or seminarians but I'm not sure) can tell you these are effective in driving away the evil spirits wherever you are. Why? I'll tell you below.
1. Play Gregorian chants of the Lord's Prayer and the Rosary by Benedictine monks.
There are plenty of places to find these kinds of songs online. On YouTube alone you can find a lot of these. For example, here's what I use:
2. Play other Gregorian chant songs plus other Catholic prayers all day long.
The reason why these are effective is because the demons and devils absolutely hate Gregorian songs. This is what I found out from Fr. Chad Ripperger, a Catholic priest who is one of the known exorcists online. From all his years of experience, this is one of the advice he mentioned. If you doubt it then try it and discover how powerful God, Jesus and Mama Mary truly is.
According to the same priest and other exorcists like him, the devil/demons abhor Mama Mary. This is why calling on her will protect you from any worldly and spiritual malevolence.
Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Her feast day is every June 27th. source
Even your guardian angel is stronger than any evil being. Do a quick search online and see what I mean.
As a Warning, Let me Just Say this Again
If you continue sinning against God you can be sure the devil and demons will stay with you. Examples of the sins we should confess to a priest/pastor and STOP doing:
- engaging in any sexual activities outside of marriage (promiscuousness, sexual immoralities)
- addiction (cigarette, alcohol, porn, etc.)
- New Age/occult activities - practicing witchcraft, going to faith healers (albularyo) or witch doctors, doing New Age and occult things, doing Feng Shui activities, etc.
Even if you do the all the things I shared above but do not renounce the demons and devils (plus the sinful activities associated with them), they will not leave completely. In fact those beings will even retaliate or "punish" you later on. That would be the point when you would already experience weird and unnatural things. At the worst part, you would desperately be looking for a Catholic exorcist priest even if you are not Catholic.
If you do everything you've read here then you won't need to call for any exorcist anymore because possession will not happen. But if you return to your sinful ways then you'll know what will happen.
So now that you are aware, beware and take care.
The war for our souls is real.
You might not see it but it is definitely happening. For sure you can see some signs of it everywhere. Plenty of evidence can be seen online and offline.
Unfortunately if you are already under the invisible spell of the evil ones, you will be blind to it. Why? Because if those malevolent spirits truly "show themselves" to you, you will definitely come running back to God. And they don't want that to happen, ever! This is why they will do everything in their power to keep you blind, deaf, or even arrogant and ignorant.
Think about this: Why will the devil/demons bother "disturbing" or harassing you if and when they already have you in the bag? 😉 Remember, the father of lies will never reveal itself until it's too late.
Anyway, remember everything I mentioned here and strive to live according to God's commandments. That's all and I hope learning all I've written helps you dear reader. If you know of other life hacks like these feel free to share! 🙏

All Saints of Heaven, come to our aid. From anxiety, sadness and obsessions – We implore Thee, deliver us, O Lord.
Lovely!
Have you tried Liturgy of the Hours (daily Breviary) - which opens each day, "Lord, come to our assistance" -?
I call upon the saints as well. The community of saints, or the #communion of saints, is a beautiful concept. Even if it's nothing more than a meditation, even if none of Catholic dogma is true and real, the Rosary offers us a sense of not praying alone, but praying with others who have gone before us.
My Protestant mother warned us never even to date a Catholic, but I married one.
Those Gregorian chants are beautiful. At a wedding in 2019 we heard seminarians from Our Lady of Guadaloupe sing at a wedding... sublime! ...
Here's one of their youtube videos:
These young men are stellar. Grounded. Full of fun and wit.
It is staggering to consider that 2,000+ years of faith and tradition could be based on a myth.
But I will not dwell on the obvious and overwhelming evidence against belief.... instead I opt to keep believing, or at least embracing the beliefs and living as if this God of Love actually exists and knows us and cares about us.
Amen. Hehe. That's great, you married a Catholic. I haven't tried that Liturgy of the Hours. I still have many prayers to learn. 😅
All your posts offer soooo many things to respond to.
A year ago at this time I was immersed in Susie Larson and her book Strong in Battle.
Yes, she's Protestant, and I was really struck at how many ways that obvious to me. But so much of what she writes parallels what you are saying here.
You're right about the music.
"When we sing, we're praying twice."
How many times I've sung while dog walking - "Speak, Lord, I love to listen to your voice," and all these hymns of praise (and petition) - "Send us your Spirit; renew the face of the earth" -
"The function of prayer is not to influence God, but rather to change the nature of the one who prays." ― Soren Kierkegaard
Prayer doesn't change the world. It only changes the person who's praying.
Well, I need to get away from this pc and get the day going.
You are a kindred soul - I'll be playing catch up, reading your posts.
P.S. Before I go, here is an excerpt of my review of Strong in Battle:
Susie writes,
--"You have one enemy and he attacks in often predictable ways. But we are not going to put up with it any longer."
Yeah! We're not gonna take it anymore!
Wait. Who is this "one" enemy?
"Our battle is not against flesh and blood but against principalities and rulers in the heavenly realms," Susie explains. "We have one enemy, and his name is Satan. On our own, on our best day, we are no match for him. He has studied us our whole lives. He knows our weak spots; he knows about our unhealed wounds and how to trigger our fears. We're like little children in the face of a Goliath of an enemy."
Well, that's annoying! This "enemy" wants to steal our joy, keep us from knowing God, even get us to believe the devil does not exist (as Paul Harvey famously noted). The enemy is every negative force seeking to pull us down into depression, apathy, despair, anger, hatred, self-pity; the enemy wants us to doubt that Heaven exists and question if there’s life after death.
The focus of this book is not the scheming and manipulation of Satan, but the constructive things we can do to keep our thoughts out of the abyss. We suffer. We despair. We wonder how and why a loving God could allow so much tragedy in our world. Susie acknowledges that "....it's human nature (and a legitimate question) to wonder, If God could stop this, why doesn't He? She answers that, in part, with a quote from Bo Stern: "We may wish for a God who will keep us out of all afflictions, but isn't it wonderful to become acquainted with the One who goes with us into the heart of the fight, and then uses it for something beautiful?"
No, it is frustrating, and disheartening, actually, because I have finally conceded that Christian theology is not a good blueprint for humanity, but I did not go gently into that good night (that dark, stark, silent night).....
Ehehe. Sounds like a good book too. It's alright, the answers will come to us in time. We all have our own journey in this life. Hope you find the answers to what frustrates and disheartens you. I too have experienced that before but have already gone through it. God will make a way as long as we are open to receive and ask for it. 😉
I'm happy that you find my posts worth responding and interacting with. Hehe. Nice to meet you here on Hive. 😁
Nice to meet you, too!
Your posts are very much worth responding to. :)
Ok so here I am still at the pc, still thinking about your post.
Hours and hours of conversation could spring from this, your "only life hack."
Does Prayer Work?
Yes and no. by Phil Zuckerman, Ph.D., professor of sociology and secular studies at Pitzer College:
As @owasco can attest, I keep praying, and I call upon the community of saints to join me as I pray the walking Rosary in the wetlands, a pair of collies at my side. I call on her son Niko (a "being of light" no longer walking this earth), and on Bruni, aka @wonderwop, who left this world far too soon. I summon my grandparents and lost loved ones to walk with me (in spirit) as I pray for this God of Love to keep working in us, bringing us together - to the table, where all are welcome - come, come to the feast!
Somebody drag me away from this pc, ASAP.
More from the article cited above:
And, I'm back!
While mixing up spices and marinating chicken, I've been listening to the monks.
And revisiting that Prayer against every evil - which includes this one:
#Babylon
oh, Daniel in the lion's den,
oh, Daniel, the scholar, a captive of the king of Babylon...
oh, how Judaism evolved while the Jews were in captivity, exposed to Zoroastrians in Babylon.
Believers like my mom will never look outside the Bible for anything.
If it's not in the Bible, it's not real. It's lies, the devil's own lies. It's propaganda. It's evil.
Sorry, humans wrote stuff down long before the Bible was written.
And I feel like two people: one, the believer my mom intended me to be, and two, the skeptic I was born to be, forever questioning all Mom's Bible teachings. Never able to make sense of the implausible or contradictory things we are told to accept with the unquestioning innocence of a child. But even as a child I could not ... my dad's mantra (in all things) was "Don't ask why. Just take my word for it."
Paul C. Vitz, Faith of the Fatherless: The Psychology of Atheism
Yeah, no...
What the skeptics have in common is not just the absence of a positive father figure, Mr. Vitz.
The #1 thing they have in common is reading outside the Bible....READING... studying... learning.
But I still attend Mass every week with my cradle-Catholic husband, who has never entertained a single doubt.
Oh. Perhaps it is harder for you since you're a Protestant. Hehe.
I too had doubts but have discarded most of them just this Lent. I have read and watched a lot of others too. The only thing that did me good is my belief in God and Mama Mary. All the rest is nothing compared to my experience with the Lord. So now there is only just a little doubt left but soon I will get rid of it.
As for the atheists, etc., well as the exorcist priests said, they are already in the devil's bag. They will not be bothered by any demon/devil at all because they might return to God if they do. 😂
It's ok to have doubts. Even doubting Thomas had them. For sure you will come to a conclusion soon enough. 🙏
All the rest is nothing compared to my experience with the Lord.
This is how doubts are overcome.
This is how millions still believe in spite of all the books and histories and other religions.
"Changed Lives"
No longer I, but Christ within me, a treasure rich beyond compare -
Yes indeed. 🙏
Raised Protestant - agnostic after reading the whole Bible - then, Catholic.
More than half my life, I've been practicing Catholicism.
Sometimes, just going through the motions, because, Pascal's wager.
He said to give it a year, and the habits would become beliefs.
I believe in something - and it seems ok to call this something God, or Jesus -
but I would not seek converts or claim I have a monopoly on the one true God.
I do love the familiar mantras, mysteries, traditions, and imagery.
Oh I see... that sounds interesting.
It's certainly not for lack of willingness and openness and prayer that I continue to be a skeptic. Speak, Lord. Let me know you. A Catholic friend tells me I already know God but just don't "know" that I know...
