A Water V Earth Battle in Keep Your Distance Ruleset.

I got a battle Keep Your Distance Ruleset where I played a water v earth battle and my strategy worked well. Using Alric Stormbringer as the summoner, I chose two water monsters with a neutral monster and fought a earth team with three earth monsters with a neutral monster.

My Lineup Strategy: I chose a water team with total four cards (A summoner card and 3 magic monster cards)

The battle was ruled by keep your distance ruleset that forbid both teams in using monsters with melee attack so I chose only monsters with magic attack. Total mana for the battle was 17. After choosing the summoner that wastes 3 mana, I chose Djinn Oshannus in level 1 for the 1st place that waste 8 mana and this monster can reduce damage from magic attacks using void ability so its good to have this monster as the opponent team had mostly magic attackers.

Then I chose Ice Pixie in level 2 for the second place that waste only 2 mana and using flying ability, this monster has an increased chance of evading melee or ranged attacks from monsters who do not have the Flying ability. Then I chose Doctor Blight in level 1 for the third/last place that waste 4 mana and this monster has a chance of applying affliction on the target causing it to be unable to be healed using affliction ability and this monster cannot be directly targeted for attacks unless it's in the first position for using camouflage ability.

Combat:

All friendly monsters gets one extra magic attack from the rare summoner that I used in this battle. And the enemy magic monsters gets one extra magic attack from their summoner.

The enemy team chose a ranged monster at the first place who can't attack from there but when this monster dies, adjacent monster gets +1 to all stats for martyr ability and they chose a non attacker at the last place that reduced the speed of two friendly monsters using slow ability. Enemy team first attacked friendly team. Regal Peryton of enemy team attacked Djinn Oshannus of friendly team where the friendly monster lost one health instead of two for using void ability that caused reduce magic damage.

Then first Djinn Oshannus of friendly team attacked Fungus Flinger of enemy team and the enemy monster lost three health there out of four health and then Ice Pixie of friendly team attacked and killed that enemy monster for good. The adjacent enemy monster got +1 to all stats for the martyr ability of the dead enemy monster and now Regal Peryton has better stats. Wood Nymph took its turn and killed one health of my Djinn Oshannus. And then my Doctor Blight attacked and killed two health of Regal Peryton and also applied affliction ability so the enemy monster shouldn't get heal from Wood Nymph in the next round.

It was the second round where Regal Peryton attacked and killed two health of my Djinn Oshannus. Then my Djinn Oshannus sucked most health of that Regal Peryton and then my Ice Pixie attacked and killed that enemy monster for good. Now the enemy team had only one monster who can attack.

Wood Nymph attacked and killed one health of my Djinn Oshannus which should not be happened furthermore. Then my Doctor Blight attacked and killed two health of Wood Nymph and now the enemy monster had only one health left. There was the third and last round where my Djinn Oshannus first attacked and killed Wood Nymph for good and the last enemy monster ran to the first place without any attack. Then my Ice Pixie attacked Creeping Ooze where the enemy monster lost its only health and the battle was packed up in round 3.
