Hello Hivelovers, today I bring you a new recipe for the already named AgroCafé, a small venture that I am starting in our VidaVerde home with my beloved life partner @cvnuitter.

Preamble

In order to make different recipes to offer to our public. We have done some research and are developing different preparations with different extraction methods to provide a unique experience in each drink.

So we decided to make this cold coffee recipe in the Chemex method with Trinitaria flowers, the name we give it in Venezuela or Bugambilia, the name by which it is known in other countries, accompanied with Yerbabuena leaves to accompany the extraction.

Medicinal use of Bugambilia

Bugambilia is known for its wide use in hot drinks or tea, as well as a healing drink to combat diabetes, relieve cough, stomach problems, and relieve sore throat. This, added to coffee, gives rise to a drink that can be Enjoy the flavor but it can also be used to relieve the symptoms mentioned above.

Reflections

It is interesting that each and every one of the things found in nature can serve to cure us, I say this because we are normally used to taking medicine 💊 in pills or any other presentation, medicines that are important for our health, but they are medicines. synthetically produced from natural extracts. Many times we rule out curing ourselves with natural medicine, but the reality is that it is possible and we should make a healthy harmonious combination between normative medicine and natural medicine. So the excuse for this recipe is to offer a concoction that can be used to taste and explore new flavors but that serves as an alternative method to cure ourselves of the ailments previously mentioned in previous paragraphs.

Recipe preparation

For this occasion I will use the Chemex method with a metal filter, with a 14:1 strong coffee ratio where I will have to use.

32.1 grams of coffee
450 Grams of water
385.7 Grams of Brew Water

Water for the Blum at 93 degrees Celsius

I don't weigh the grams of Bugambilia flowers but they are enough to dye the water pink.

I will also use about 5 Yerbanueba leaves that I will place after putting the coffee in the Chemex in order to provide cross aromas.

For this recipe I will use coffee from the Páramo Venezolano brand, it is not specialty coffee or origin, it could be classified as very good quality Gourmet coffee. The thing is that in Venezuela even commercial coffee is good hahahaha I even have many barista friends who offer their favorite commercial brands to drink at home.

Blum Time

We will add 3 times the weight of the coffee in water, approximately 96.3 grams, after pouring the water to the target. We are going to shake the Chemex a little so that the coffee reaches everywhere.

After 45 seconds we will continue pouring the Blum until the end in concentric circles and without touching the edges. This should last a total of 6 minutes.

In a glass glass I will put some ice and place a little more than half of our Bugambilia tea infusion and after this we will gradually add the coffee directly from the Chemex until the glass is complete.

A freshly ground coffee will always be special, now, I have already tried it with good grass, but never with trinitaria, I must try it and think that I have trees of this type close to home.

Starting a coffee shop with the one you love sounds like a dream to me! It has been fun to read about your preparations and the area you chose from both of your blogs!

As for the natural medicine bit- yes!! There are so many plants that provide what we need all around us. I also prefer natural remedies to the ones in pill form. Bugambilia was a new one to me, it was great to learn a bit about it here. :) Thanks for sharing this cool recipe!

Hi @grindan Thank you very much for coming here and appreciating this publication.

Regarding the experience of this venture with my partner, it is exactly as you say... A dream come true. 😍 I can't ask for more!

And with respect to medicinal plants, coffee itself is a plant whose cherry is healing... for me the best protector of the heart.

You are from my natural medicine team before the pills 🤗 how exciting.

Whenever I can I will share my knowledge.

Now talking about another topic. I would like to ask you. Is there something wrong with this post? because I saw a comment from the community about the rules for publishing.

I thought that since you are MOD of @cinnccf you could explain it to me better.

Thank you again for appreciating blessings
