Strawberry Moon Doesn't Look Like A Strawberry At All

I was out last night for a quick grocery run and as I was driving back home I was taken aback by how gigantic the moon was.

It was right next to the Al Bahar Towers in all it's reddish grandeur. I could not help myself but pull over and take a shot using my mobile phone. This one was x10 zoom.

I was honestly not happy with it, but I guess I make do with what I had. 😅 I didn't want anyone to call me out why I was parked on the side road like that (though there really wasn't any car at that time).

Though dissatisfied, I went on to drive home. I even had a scare because as I passed by the speed camera, it flashed. I knew did not make any traffic violations but it still had me thinking. Anyway, whatever it was, I just smiled just in case the photo gets published somewhere (that's a joke of course. 🤪)

I reached home and called the kids so they could go out and see the beautiful full moon. We, later on, read that the full moon in June is called Strawberry Moon.

"But it doesn't look like a strawberry!" Little Man commented.

Nope, but what a full moon is called usually has to do with what activities are commonly being done by the people in that month. This time, the strawberries are just ready to be harvested.

I took another x10 magnified shot and tried a 100x, but it was too huge to fit the frame already I settled with 79x.
