MAX: Our Golden Retriever [Latest Update] ft. Arashi

Hello everyone, especially to all pet lovers who follow Max's journey at our home and insert our cute little one, Arashi. 🥰

It's been two months already since we adopted Max, our golden retriever fur baby.

From a very weak, skinny, and malnourished pet, we are so happy that we were able to help him recover his health, little by little. He arrived to our home very weak two months ago. We can see his sadness and boredom not just through vision but from our hearts, too.
That's why we did our best to care for him and show him genuine love as his new family.

I was so happy that many of you here expressed affection for Max, and that's the reason I am updating you now on his wonderful progress. Seeing Max's progress now can really melt our hearts and even bring us tears of happiness because he is this chubby now.

He finally completed his vaccination last March 8, and we are so happy that even the doctor/veterinarian was overwhelmed with his progress. From 19.8 kilograms two months ago, he now weighs 24.3kg. He is so close to getting his average weight, which is 25 to 30 kg. That makes us really happy. He is so affectionate to us now, and he actively played too by running in our small yard inside the fence, and playing with his toy. He even already ruined it by biting.

However, Max and Arashi are not close even now, so we still need to separate them.

Arashi, our toy poodle, always stays inside the house while Max stays outside, mostly during the daytime. And he loves being outside freely, too. He even sleeps so comfortably outside that sometimes he won't sleep on his bed but on the cemented floor.

While Arashi is also sleeping comfortably on our sofa, I'm doing something at home like cooking. This is how relaxed our two beloved pets are sometimes, but they are very noisy sometimes too, barking at each other or barking at some dogs and cats outside.

Max really loves to sleep on a cold cement floor with his electric fan outside.

But lately our weather here has become so hot. The humidity is so intense that even some classes were suspended in some places of our country. Because of this, my daughter @tegoshei adjusted her work, too. Instead of conducting some classes at noon right after our lunch, she closes her classes from 12nn until 3 pm so that Max can stay in her bedroom/ office and can hide from the heat of the sun outside. She opens her air-conditioner earlier this time just for Max. And he slept comfortably there, too. Still on the floor without bedding and a pillow because Max will just bite it. Heheh

Arashi, on the other hand, sleeps well in our bedroom, too. He has slept in our room day and night since he was a baby. Putting them together in one room is still our wish, but we are hopeful that time will come for them to become closer and be best buddies.
