Creamy Garlic Chicken Breast or Fillet

I hope you are having nice weather. Unfortunately, we are experiencing bad weather in our area and some other places in the Philippines due to Typhoon Kristine. Please stay safe, everyone. Despite the bad weather, I could still cook a comforting dish for my family. I made creamy garlic chicken breast or fillet. Here's how I prepared and cooked it.

Creamy Garlic Chicken Breast or Fillet





INGREDIENTS:






• Chicken Fillet
• Potatoes
• Garlic
• Onion
• Spring Onion (better if you have Parsley)
• Knorr Chicken Cube
• Kalamansi or Philippine Lime
• Garlic Powder
• Ground Black Pepper
• Paprika
• Milk
• Cheese
• Tomato Paste
• Tabasco Sauce
• Soy Sauce
• Canola Oil
• Butter
• Cornstarch

PREPARATION:





Clean and wash the chicken breast thoroughly
After washing, slice the chicken into cubes. Then season the chicken with garlic powder, ground black pepper, soy sauce, paprika, and a little cornstarch, and then set aside for about 30 minutes.

Wash the potatoes and peel them. Cut or slice them into cubes and then season the sliced potatoes with garlic powder and paprika.

Crush and mince garlic. Peel and wash onion and slice them into small pieces. Clean and wash spring onion and then cut thinly. Wash the kalamansi and slice it in half. Then set all aside.

Cooking Time:





Heat a small amount of canola oil in a pan and then sauté the seasoned potatoes until golden brown. Remove from the pan when it's already cooked and transfer to a clean plate.




Put again a small amount of canola oil in the pan and then sauté garlic and onions until aromatic.





Add the seasoned chicken breast, and also add 1 tbsp of butter to enhance the flavor and aroma. Then sauté the chicken with the garlic and onions until the chicken is slightly cooked, then add 1 tbsp of tomato paste. Stir and continue cooking for about 3 minutes.





Add some milk and continue cooking until the sauce is thickened. Then, add the chicken cube. Stir to melt the chicken cube and then add a little soy sauce and a small amount of Tabasco sauce.





Continue stirring to combine and then add some cheese to make the sauce creamier and savorier. Continue cooking for 5 minutes and then finally add the fried potatoes. Mix carefully and cook for another 5 minutes.
