Ways to save money that I have put into practice

Talking about how to manage finances and how to save money, I became very passionate about writing this theme because from childhood I was called a thrifty person and likes saving, here are 3 ways to save money that I have practiced for years in my life.

1. Only eat home-cooked food

Talking about food, to save on my expenses, since I was little until now I rarely eat out and I only eat food cooked by my mother at home.

This makes my financial condition very stable because most of the expenses we spend every day are to buy basic food, that's the reason why I really like eating at home.

2. Only buy productive goods

As I get older I become more aware of how to manage my finances so that I can save on my expenses and can also increase my savings and income by buying productive items.

Currently I never shop for consumer goods which can reduce my savings, I will only buy things which can make me more productive, such as buying a macro lens which can enable me to produce beautiful photography so that I can increase my income from the photographic results.

3. Buy productive goods with only 10% of my monthly income

So, apart from only buying productive items, I also really look after my financial condition or savings, I will only buy productive items with only 10% of my monthly income.

For example, the macro camera lens that I bought, I would only buy the macro lens for $20 USD if my income was $200 USD in a month, if my income was less than $200 USD then I would not buy the macro lens.

In this way, my financial condition will remain stable because I will continue to have savings that are 10 times larger than each item I use.
