Tutorial on making squid from origami paper 🦑
Hi friends of HIVE DIY
Today I want to make crafts from origami paper again, today I want to make beautiful animals again from origami paper, but not animals that live on land that I want to make using origami paper, today I want to make squid using a piece of yellow origami paper.
Here is a tutorial on how to make squid from yellow origami paper
First, fold the origami paper in half, then open the paper again and now fold the bottom side half up, then fold the top side of the origami paper half down as shown in the picture below.
Then fold each end slightly on the four sides of the origami paper inward as shown in the picture below.
Then open one end that we have folded above, then open the folded layer again, after that bend the fold inward so that the paper is shaped like the picture below.
After that, open another fold on the other side and also open the bottom layer of the fold, then fold it inward so that the shape of the paper fold is aligned as shown in the picture below.
Then open the fold on both sides of the end of the fold on the other side, then fold half into the bottom and top sides of the paper towards the inside as shown in the picture below.
Then fold the bottom and top sides of the origami paper half inward again as shown in the picture below.
Then open the bottom layer of the inside of the origami paper and fold the origami paper from the bottom to the top until the origami paper fold automatically reverses and forms the fold as shown in the picture below.
Then also open the top layer of the inside of the origami paper and fold the origami paper from the bottom to the top until the fold automatically reverses and forms the fold as shown in the picture below.
Now the body and tail of the squid are starting to be visible, now we continue to make the head and legs of the squid by looking at the inside of the paper a little, then open the fold again and fold it once more half inward like the picture below, then fold the fold half out again and fold the fold a little inward like the picture below.
Then open the fold above again and now fold the origami paper a little inward from the other side, then open the fold again and now fold the origami paper half inward again, then fold the ends outward again and then fold the ends inward again like the picture below.
Then open the fold again and now turn the origami paper over, after that fold the bottom end of the origami paper again following the fold pattern above like the picture below.
After the fold is opened again, fold it also with the same fold pattern on the other side like the picture I show below.
Now, after the folds above are opened again, now tilt the origami paper and open each side of the origami paper again and now we can see each pattern of the folds that we have made above, then fold the origami paper inward following the line pattern that we have made, then pull out the fold and the tip of the paper fold again inward as shown in the picture below.
Also do the same thing on each side of the paper line that we have made the pattern above as shown in the picture below.
After all the folds above have been followed properly, now fold the origami paper into two parts, then fold the origami paper again downward but leave a little fold at the bottom.
Then fold the left and right sides of the origami paper half inward as shown in the picture below.
Then fold the paper into two parts half down as shown in the picture below.
When turned over, the squid shape is almost finished, the last step that must be done is to fold the left and right sides of the bottom of the origami paper upwards in a semicircle shape to make the legs of the squid.
After all the steps have been followed properly, the squid is now perfectly finished.
This is the origami paper craft that I want to share with my friends today, thank you for those of you who visited my craft post today, see you in the next post.
