Tutorial on making Shrimp from a sheet of origami paper 🦐

Shrimp is one of my favorite sea animals because since I was little I really like eating shrimp, shrimp is also one of the beautiful sea animals because it has long whiskers on its head.

Well, today I want to make Shrimp from a piece of origami paper to share with my friends, here is a tutorial on making Shrimp from origami paper.

First, fold the origami paper into a triangle shape, then unfold it again and now fold the right and left sides of the origami paper towards the middle as shown in the picture below.

Then fold the right and left sides of the origami paper again towards the middle so that the shape of the origami paper becomes more pointed as shown in the picture below.

Then fold the right and left sides of the top of the origami paper as shown in the picture I share below.

After that, unfold it again and now continue to fold the middle of the origami paper in half as shown in the picture below.

Then cut a little bit of the top of the paper to make a small hole, then also cut the sides of the paper from bottom to top to make the shrimp whisker pattern as shown in the picture I share below.

Then unfold it again and now fold the right and left sides of the origami paper towards the middle, then fold the small part of the origami paper that we cut earlier up and insert the small part of the cut paper into the hole that we made earlier.

Then fold the right and left sides of the top of the origami paper again, then fold the top of the origami paper down, then fold the origami paper up once more.

Then fold the bottom up, then fold it down again, then fold it up again, then fold it down again, then fold it up again, then fold it down again, then fold it up again, then fold it down again.

Then fold the middle of the origami paper into two parts and now slowly bend the body and tail of the shrimp in a circle down, also add a little shrimp eye using a pen or colored pencil.

After all the steps are followed properly, the origami paper shrimp is perfectly finished and has a shape that is very similar to a real shrimp because the origami shrimp also has long whiskers on its head.
