Aceh Museum Library of our history
The history museum is a place that will always make my true self feel awakened because it contains various past histories about our ancestors which can awaken positive energy in me.
At the weekend this week or more precisely this Saturday I want to go to the Aceh Museum, this is a museum that the people of Aceh are very proud of because it contains the history of Aceh and very complete fine art exhibitions.
When I first entered the museum in the main room, I was immediately greeted by giant writing on the wall telling about the history of Aceh starting from the Iskandar Muda Sultanate until today.
This is a very complete historical map and it made my heart so touched when I read one by one the historical writings on this large wall, the pictures shown were also so good that I felt like I had gone back in time.
Not only historical pictures, photos and biodata of Acehnese Heroes in the past when they fought against the invaders are also the longest beautiful in this room, every time I see photos of the Heroes who fought for Aceh's honor one by one, it gives me goosebumps because of their confidence and prowess when they fought in the past. really very extraordinary.
In the corner of the room there are also weapons used by the heroes to fight the invaders. The weapons displayed here include swords, Rencong Mecungggek, spears and even steel shields.
On the wall in this room there is also a map of Aceh with colorful lights indicating each different region and tribe.
Don't forget, the original Acehnese Prang Sabi saga is also available in this room, the Prang Sabi saga itself is a typical Acehnese song that was sung during war, to this day when the people of Aceh hear this song the enthusiasm to fight against the invaders immediately emerges from the depths of their hearts.
And in the corner of the room there is also a book with Arabic writing from the past.
In the second room, there are lots of tools and jewelry used by the Aceh Royal Family in the Past, on the front wall there is a painting of Sultan Iskandar Muda who was the most famous King in Aceh in the past.
Then slowly I started to see that Aceh's currency in the past was the dirham.
mailbox
Rencong Meupucok (a typical Acehnese weapon)
Ink dispenser
Container (karah)
Gold Plates
At the end of the room there is also a teplica of the tombs of the Kings and Queens in Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam. The tombs of these kings are made of stone with Arabic calligraphy carved around them.
Very complete and original historical manuscripts from the past are also neatly arranged in this room.
In the middle of the room there is also the king's throne and clothes worn by the King of Aceh in the past.
Then I also saw that ancient books written in Arabic were also available here.
Then beside it there is a painting of an Acehnese warship in the past and two cannons in front of it.
In this room there are also paintings depicting the activities of the people of Aceh during the time of Sulatan Iskandar Muda when welcoming the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad SAW.
After that, I was immediately greeted with a room that was no less unique, in this part of the room there were items/tools used by the Acehnese people to survive and also Acehnese traditional clothing when celebrating wedding receptions in the past, and this traditional clothing is also still present. in use to this day.
This is a short planer, or tool commonly used to smooth the surface of wood.
A kitchen tool used to store and measure rice.
Deer hunting tools.
A tool for finding fish in rivers and at sea, called Bubee.
A tool for cleaning rice and coffee. Also available here are typical Acehnese coffee beans.
So, then we enter the area of traditional wedding clothing from all over Aceh.
Traditional Acehnese clothing that is commonly used throughout the Aceh region.
Aceh Gayo Traditional Clothing.
Aceh Singkil Traditional Clothing.
Acehnese traditional clothing of the Aneuk Jame tribe.
Acehnese traditional clothing of the Kluet tribe.
Southeast Aceh Traditional Clothing.
Aceh Tamiang Traditional Clothing.
Jewelry worn by the bride.
Decorative tools for entertaining guests on the day of the wedding.
And the last one is the umbrella and skullcap used by the groom when visiting the bride's house on the day of the party.
This is everyday clothing used by Acehnese women in the past.
Visiting the Aceh Museum really made my mood happy because I could learn many things about the beauty and uniqueness of Aceh in the past.
