Me complace estar nuevamente esta semana con todos ustedes trayendoles un nuevo contenido. El dia de hoy quiero presentarles a todos ustedes El hermoso Parque Ayacucho ubicado en el pleno corazón de la ciudad de Barquisimeto en Venezuela.

I am pleased to be with you again this week bringing you a new content. Today I want to present to all of you the beautiful Ayacucho Park located in the heart of the city of Barquisimeto in Venezuela.

Este parque se encuentra ubicado al centro de la ciudad de Barquisimeto este parque esta comprendido por una redoma rodeada de grandes arboles coloridos al centeo una gran estatúa posada sobre un gran pedestal de mármol. En ella se encuentra la imagen del Venezolano Antonio José de Sucre (Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho). Esta redoma comunica al centro-oeste con el este y al norte con el sur.

This park is located in the center of the city of Barquisimeto. This park is comprised of a traffic circle surrounded by large colorful trees and a large statue perched on a large marble pedestal. In it is the image of the Venezuelan Antonio José de Sucre (Great Marshal of Ayacucho). This traffic circle connects the center-west with the east and the north with the south.

Este Parque fué construido en el año 1924 en conmemoración del bicentenario de la batalla de ayacucho. La última de las batallas más importante en la República del perú, comandada por el Mariscal Antonio José de Sucre. Contra el Real ejercito español. Cabe destacar que esta fué una de las ultimas batallas que le otorgaron la enamcipación a america latina del reino de españa. con esta victoria el entonces presidente de la Gran Colombia el Libertador Simón Bolivar le otorga el titulo de Gran Mariscal a Sucre por su hazaña heroica.

Historical Review.

This park was built in 1924 in commemoration of the bicentennial of the battle of Ayacucho. The last of the most important battles in the Republic of Peru, commanded by Marshal Antonio José de Sucre. Against the Royal Spanish Army. It should be noted that this was one of the last battles that granted the enamcipation of Latin America from the kingdom of Spain. With this victory the then president of Gran Colombia, the Liberator Simón Bolivar, granted the title of Grand Marshal to Sucre for his heroic feat.

El centro del parque posan algunas banderas y placas de reconocimiento de gobernos y nacionales extranjeros. A lo largo de sus 4 hectareas de superficie podemos encontrar hermosas caminerias, arboles como apamates, samanes, robes e inclusive pinos.

In the center of the park there are some flags and plaques of recognition of foreign governments and nationals. Throughout its 4 hectares of surface we can find beautiful paths, trees such as apamates, samanes, robes and even pines.

Cabe destacar que la tranquilidad y el canto de pajaros esta a la orden del dia a cada momento. En una estela de tranquilidad puedes sentir la fresca brisa. Si miras con atención puedes ver ardillas y demas animales silvestres saltando de rama en rama.

It should be noted that tranquility and birdsong is the order of the day at all times. In a wake of tranquility you can feel the cool breeze. If you look carefully you can see squirrels and other wild animals jumping from branch to branch.

Como dato interesante podemos acotar que para cercar este parque el gobierno de aquel entonces mando a encargar un enrejado fabricado en hierro forjado traido desde italia, pues en la epoca de 1924 Aún la industria metalurgica en Venezuela era casi desconocida.

As an interesting fact, the government of that time ordered a wrought iron fence from Italy to enclose the park, because even in 1924 the metal industry in Venezuela was almost unknown.

Los bancos para los visitantes eran de granito, pero en la epoca de los 80 fueron sustituidos por bancos de hierro y madera.

The benches for visitors were made of granite, but in the 80's they were replaced by iron and wood benches.

Este parque es uno de los mas antiguos y hermosos sitios de recreación de la ciudad. Infinidades de mitos se han oido hablar de este lugar desde experiencias paranormales por estar en frente de una de las casas mas misteriosas de la ciudad e inclusive la creencia popular de que debajo del parque existen tuneles y bunkers. Esto sin duda alguna le da a este lugar aspectos curiosos e interesantes dignos de ir a contemplar.

This park is one of the oldest and most beautiful recreational sites in the city. Countless myths have been heard about this place from paranormal experiences for being in front of one of the most mysterious houses in the city and even the popular belief that under the park there are tunnels and bunkers. This undoubtedly gives this place curious and interesting aspects worthy of contemplating.
