Una formación interesante con Mylor Crowling, Gargoya Lion & Katrelba Gobson en una batalla con las reglas Rise of the Commons & Even Stevens [En/Es]

¡Saludos comunidad! En el reto de esta semana quiero compartir con ustedes un análisis de mi experiencia utilizando una estrategia con el Splinter de Tierra. La cual considero una excelente opción para aquellas partidas con un límite de maná medio y con las reglas de batalla “Rise of the Common” & “Even Stevens”. Es importante recordar que el tipo de ofensiva a utilizar en nuestras estrategias también dependerá del resto de reglas presentes en la batalla.

En esta oportunidad, les explicaré cómo afronté una batalla de Brawl de la liga de Plata en el formato Salvaje, enfocando mi análisis en explicar cómo utilicé al Splinter de Tierra, el invocador Mylor Crowling y las unidades Gargoya Lion, Goblin Psychic, Katrelba Gobson, Madcap Magus y Xenith Monk para ser coherente con las reglas de batalla presentes y las habilidades que quería combinar con la finalidad de tomar ventaja en la partida con la estrategia planteada.

Ya que estos aspectos son un factor clave con un impacto considerable en el desempeño de nuestras estrategias.

Hablemos sobre el conjunto de reglas presentes en la batalla, este es el punto de partida para iniciar el análisis que nos llevará a la elección más adecuada para afrontar la batalla.

Límite de maná igual a 29 puntos, esta cantidad nos permite elegir invocadores con un costo de maná entre 4 y 7 puntos. Aunque es importante tener una estrategia bien definida para aprovechar el maná restante para la elección adecuada de las unidades.

Rise of the Commons es una regla que sólo permite utilizar unidades comunes y raras en la batalla. Por otra parte, Even Stevens, es una regla que sólo permite utilizar unidades pares en la batalla. Mientras que Broken Arrows, es una regla que no permite utilizar unidades de tipo Ranged en la batalla.

Entonces, tomando en cuenta todos estos aspectos, decidí utilizar al Splinter de Tierra, ya que cuenta con unidades que poseen buenas estadísticas, entre ellas, un buen daño melee y mágico. También cuenta con habilidades como: “Void”, “Flying”, “Tank Heal”, “Affliction”, “Bloodlust”, “Sneak”, “Double Strike”, “Scattershot”, “Life Leech”, “Heal”, entre otras y con un invocador que otorga la habilidad “Thorns” a todas las unidades.

Hablemos sobre el equipo y la estrategia que conforma. Dadas las circunstancias, era evidente el uso de los tipos de ataque Melee y Mágico. Es por ello que decidí elegir al invocador Mylor Crowling, ya que otorga la habilidad “Thorns” a todas las unidades.

Gargoya Lion fue el tanque en esta oportunidad, ya que cuenta con buenas estadísticas, entre ellas, sus puntos de vida y ataque melee. También posee las habilidades “Void” y “Flying”, las cuales le permiten resistir el daño mágico enemigo y evadir un poco más los ataques melee.

Goblin Psychic tiene el propósito de dar soporte al tanque mediante la habilidad “Tank Heal”, también otorga cierta ventaja al equipo, cuando anula la curación del tanque enemigo, mediante la habilidad “Affliction”.

Katrelba Gobson es una unidad clave en la estrategia, ya que desde esta posición puede debilitar a las unidades enemigas sin ser un objeto directo de sus ataques. Y mientras lo hace, tiene la capacidad de incrementar sus estadísticas mediante la habilidad “Bloodlust”, lo cual es bastante probable de que suceda, ya que la habilidad “Double Strike” le permite atacar 2 veces por turno.

Madcap Magus se encarga de debilitar a las unidades enemigas aleatoriamente, a través de la habilidad “Scattershot”. Mientras lo hace, tiene la capacidad de incrementar sus puntos de vida mediante la habilidad “Life Leech”.

Xenith Monk es otra de las unidades clave en la estrategia, ya que se encarga de proteger al resto del equipo de los ataques “Sneak” del enemigo. Para ello, su habilidad “Heal”, le permite resistir el daño enemigo un poco más, mientras hace un daño residual a través de la habilidad “Thorns”.

Como les mencioné anteriormente, elegir al invocador Mylor Crowling y las unidades Gargoya Lion, Goblin Psychic, Katrelba Gobson, Madcap Magus y Xenith Monk, fue una buena opción. Sin embargo, también es importante incluir habilidades de soporte que le permitan a nuestro tanque y al resto del equipo, resistir lo suficiente.

Observen como para el turno 20 de la ronda 2, el equipo enemigo estaba casi abatido. Gargoya Lion defendió muy bien la primera posición, gracias al soporte de Goblin Psychic. Por otra parte, Katrelba Gobson debilitó considerablemente a las unidades enemigas, esto fue posible gracias a la contribución de Madcap Magus y Xenith Monk.

La estrategia planteada hizo un uso eficiente de la cantidad de maná disponible, cubriendo aspectos tales como: resistencia contra el daño enemigo, soporte del equipo, una buena ofensiva, y coherencia con el conjunto de reglas presente.

Una debilidad de esta estrategia es un equipo enemigo que cuente con una elevada ofensiva mágica o melee, la cual supere la capacidad de curación de mi tanque. Además, que incluya en su estrategia, habilidades como: “Tank Heal”, “Heal”, “Cleanse”, “Protect”, “Repair”, “Shield”, “Void”, “Immunity”, entre otras.

La diferencia entre las estrategias fue que el equipo enemigo no contaba con el soporte suficiente para resistir el daño de la habilidad “Thorns”, por lo que una vez abatida su Katrelba Gobson, su estrategia quedó desestabilizada.

Para el funcionamiento adecuado de nuestras estrategias, es importante considerar todos los aspectos involucrados, por lo que no sólo debemos enfocarnos en las estadísticas y habilidades a combinar. También debemos tener en cuenta la influencia de los conjuntos de reglas sobre la estrategia.

Greetings community! In this week's challenge I want to share with you an analysis of my experience using a strategy with the Earth Splinter. Which I consider an excellent option for those games with a medium mana limit and with the battle rules "Rise of the Common" & "Even Stevens". It is important to remember that the type of offensive to use in our strategies will also depend on the rest of the rules present in the battle.

In this opportunity, I will explain how I faced a Silver League Brawl battle in the Wild format, focusing my analysis in explaining how I used the Earth Splinter, the summoner Mylor Crowling and the units Gargoya Lion, Goblin Psychic, Katrelba Gobson, Madcap Magus and Xenith Monk to be coherent with the battle rules present and the abilities I wanted to combine in order to take advantage in the game with the strategy proposed.

Since these aspects are a key factor with a considerable impact on the performance of our strategies.

Let's talk about the set of rules present in the battle, this is the starting point to begin the analysis that will lead us to the most appropriate choice to face the battle.

Mana limit equal to 29 points, this amount allows us to choose summoners with a mana cost between 4 and 7 points. Although it is important to have a well-defined strategy to take advantage of the remaining mana for the right choice of units.

Rise of the Commons is a rule that only allows the use of common and rare units in battle. Even Stevens, on the other hand, is a rule that only allows using even units in battle. Broken Arrows, on the other hand, is a rule that does not allow the use of Ranged units in battle.

So, taking all these aspects into account, I decided to use the Earth Splinter, since it has units with good stats, including good melee and magic damage. It also has abilities such as: "Void", "Flying", "Tank Heal", "Affliction", "Bloodlust", "Sneak", "Double Strike", "Scattershot", "Life Leech", "Heal", among others, and a summoner that grants the ability "Thorns" to all units.

Let's talk about the team and the strategy it conforms. Given the circumstances, it was evident the use of Melee and Magic attack types. That's why I decided to choose the summoner Mylor Crowling, since he grants the "Thorns" ability to all units.

Gargoya Lion was the tank in this opportunity, since he has good stats, among them, his life points and melee attack. He also has the "Void" and "Flying" abilities, which allow him to resist enemy magic damage and evade melee attacks a little more.

Goblin Psychic has the purpose of supporting the tank through the "Tank Heal" ability, and also gives some advantage to the team, when it cancels the healing of the enemy tank, through the "Affliction" ability.

Katrelba Gobson is a key unit in the strategy, since from this position he can weaken enemy units without being a direct object of their attacks. And while doing so, he has the ability to increase his stats through the "Bloodlust" ability, which is quite likely to happen, since the "Double Strike" ability allows him to attack 2 times per turn.

Madcap Magus is in charge of weakening enemy units randomly, through the "Scattershot" ability. While doing so, he has the ability to increase his life points through the "Life Leech" ability.

Xenith Monk is another key unit in the strategy, since he is in charge of protecting the rest of the team from the enemy's "Sneak" attacks. To do so, his "Heal" ability allows him to resist enemy damage a little longer, while doing residual damage through the "Thorns" ability.

As I mentioned before, choosing the summoner Mylor Crowling and the units Gargoya Lion, Goblin Psychic, Katrelba Gobson, Madcap Magus and Xenith Monk was a good choice. However, it is also important to include support abilities that allow our tank and the rest of the team to resist enough.

Note how by turn 20 of round 2, the enemy team was almost down. Gargoya Lion defended the first position very well, thanks to the support of Goblin Psychic. On the other hand, Katrelba Gobson weakened the enemy units considerably, this was possible thanks to the contribution of Madcap Magus and Xenith Monk.

The strategy proposed made efficient use of the amount of mana available, covering aspects such as: resistance against enemy damage, team support, good offense, and coherence with the present rule set.

A weakness of this strategy is an enemy team that has a high magic or melee offense, which exceeds the healing capacity of my tank. In addition, the strategy should include abilities such as: "Tank Heal", "Heal", "Cleanse", "Protect", "Repair", "Shield", "Void", "Immunity", among others.

The difference between the strategies was that the enemy team did not have enough support to resist the damage of the "Thorns" ability, so once their Katrelba Gobson was downed, their strategy was destabilized.

For the proper functioning of our strategies, it is important to consider all the aspects involved, so we must not only focus on the statistics and skills to combine. We must also take into account the influence of the rule sets on the strategy.
