¡Splinterlands Social Media Challenge! - Immortalis with Spirit Druid Grog & Elven Mystic

¡Saludos comunidad! En el reto de esta semana quiero hablarles sobre un combo que he estado utilizando con el Splinter de Tierra en partidas de alto maná más que todo. Y el cual me ha funcionado bastante bien. Las cartas que considero clave para la estrategia son las siguientes: El Invocador Immortalis, el cual es de tipo legendario, y pertenece a la edición de Chaos Legión. Y los monstruos, Spirit Druid Grog, que es del tipo legendario, y pertenece a la edición Reward/Untamed. Y Elven Mystic, que es de tipo raro, y pertenece a la edición Untamed.

Greetings community! In this week's challenge I want to tell you about a combo I've been using with the Earth Splinter in mostly high mana games. And which has worked quite well for me. The cards that I consider key to the strategy are as follows: Summoner Immortalis, which is a legendary type, and belongs to the Chaos Legion edition. And the monsters, Spirit Druid Grog, which is of the legendary type, and belongs to the Reward/Untamed edition. And Elven Mystic, which is of rare type, and belongs to the Untamed edition.

Immortalis es un invocador bastante interesante, ya que además de reducir en un punto la vida del enemigo, le otorga a nuestra composición las habilidades “Void”, y “Shatter”. Lo que permite aumentar su resistencia contra el daño mágico, y superar las limitaciones que la armadura enemiga presenta a nuestros ataques, lo que conlleva a aprovecharlos mejor. Realmente es una combinación de habilidades con un buen potencial que pueden hacer fácilmente frente a Invocadores como Grandmaster Rathe, y Kelya Frendul.

Immortalis is quite an interesting summoner, since in addition to reducing the enemy's life by one point, it gives our composition the "Void" and "Shatter" abilities. This allows you to increase your resistance against magic damage, and overcome the limitations that the enemy armor presents to our attacks, which leads to take better advantage of them. It is really a combination of skills with a good potential that can easily face Summoners like Grandmaster Rathe, and Kelya Frendul.

Spirit Druid Grog es un monstruo que en su nivel 2 cuenta con las habilidades “Resurrect”, y “Life Leech”. “Resurrect” es excelente para dar soporte al tanque en nuestras composiciones. Además, en la posición y condiciones adecuadas, su habilidad “Life Leech” puede darnos una gran ventaja.

Spirit Druid Grog is a level 2 monster with the abilities "Resurrect" and "Life Leech". "Resurrect" is excellent for supporting the tank in our compositions. In addition, in the right position and conditions, his "Life Leech" ability can give us a great advantage.

Elven Mystic es un monstruo que en su nivel 4 posee la habilidad “Silence”. Lo que en combinación con la habilidad “Void”, es excelente para reducir aún más el daño mágico recibido. Aumentando nuestro chance de tomar ventaja en las partidas. Además de que es muy versátil ya que es del tipo neutral, y tiene un coste de maná 4.

Usé a Immortalis como invocador por las razones mencionadas anteriormente. En la Primera posición usé a Mycelic Slipspawn con la finalidad de concentrar todo el daño enemigo en él, y de esta forma dar tiempo al resto de la composición para debilitar al enemigo. En la Segunda posición usé a Centauri Mage con la finalidad de contribuir al daño desde la segunda línea, y proteger al resto de la composición en caso de que el tanque muera. En la Tercera posición usé a Goblin Psychic para dar soporte al tanque mediante su habilidad “Heal”, y además de contribuir al daño desde la segunda línea, también existe la posibilidad de anular la curación del tanque enemigo mediante su habilidad “Affliction”. En la Cuarta posición usé a Spirit Druid Grog para dar soporte a la composición mediante su habilidad “Resurrect”, y contribuir al daño desde la segunda línea. En la Quinta posición usé a Elven Mystic con el propósito de reducir el daño mágico enemigo mediante su habilidad “Silence”, y también contribuir al daño desde la segunda línea. Y en la Última posición usé a Suidae Shaman con la finalidad de rematar a los monstruos enemigos mediante su habilidad “Recharge”, ya que la misma triplica su daño base. Entonces, como pueden observar, mi estrategia consiste en una composición que cuenta con resistencia al daño mágico, mediante la habilidad “Void”. Además de ello, puede eliminar el escudo enemigo mediante la habilidad “Shatter”. Y no menos importante, mediante la habilidad “Silence” reduce el daño mágico enemigo, permitiendo aprovechar aún más la habilidad “Void”. También, cabe destacar que sobre todo el tanque, recibe curación mediante la habilidad “Heal”, y puede revivir. Por lo que este conjunto de habilidades, y condiciones en la partida, hace que esta estrategia alcance un gran potencial.

I used Immortalis as a summoner for the reasons mentioned above. In the first position I used Mycelic Slipspawn in order to concentrate all the enemy damage on him, and thus give the rest of the composition time to weaken the enemy. In the second position I used Centauri Mage in order to contribute to the damage from the second line, and protect the rest of the composition in case the tank dies. In the third position I used Goblin Psychic to support the tank with his "Heal" ability, and besides contributing to the damage from the second line, there is also the possibility to cancel the healing of the enemy tank with his "Affliction" ability. In the fourth position I used Spirit Druid Grog to support the composition with his "Resurrect" ability, and contribute to the damage from the second line. In the fifth position I used Elven Mystic with the purpose of reducing enemy magic damage through his "Silence" ability, and also contribute to the damage from the second line. And in the last position I used Suidae Shaman in order to finish off the enemy monsters with his "Recharge" ability, since it triples his base damage. So, as you can see, my strategy consists of a composition that has resistance to magic damage, through the "Void" ability. In addition to that, it can eliminate the enemy shield by means of the "Shatter" skill. And not least, by means of the "Silence" skill it reduces the enemy magic damage, allowing to take even more advantage of the "Void" skill. Also, it is worth noting that especially the tank receives healing through the "Heal" skill, and can revive. So this set of skills, and conditions in the game, makes this strategy reach a great potential.

En el turno 9 de la ronda 2, Suidae Shaman abatió al Mycelic Slipspawn enemigo de un ataque. Mi Mycelic Slipspawn sólo contaba con 1 punto de vida, ya que se encontraba bajo el efecto de la habilidad “Affliction”. Sin embargo, aún no había revivido.

On turn 9 of round 2, Suidae Shaman took down the enemy Mycelic Slipspawn in one attack. My Mycelic Slipspawn had only 1 health point, as it was under the effect of the "Affliction" ability. However, it had not yet revived.

En el turno 6 de la ronda 3, Centauri Mage abatió a Spirit Hoarder. Mi Mycelic Slipspawn ya había muerto y revivido, y el enemigo sólo contaba con 3 monstruos, mientras mi composición aún estaba completa. Teniendo en cuenta que Mycelic Slipspawn le quedaban 3 puntos de vida.

On turn 6 of round 3, Centauri Mage took down Spirit Hoarder. My Mycelic Slipspawn had already died and revived, and the enemy only had 3 monsters, while my composition was still complete. Considering that Mycelic Slipspawn had 3 health points left.

En el turno 12 de la ronda 3, Spirit Druid Grog abatió a Queen Mycelia. Quedando el enemigo con 2 monstruos, y mi composición aún estaba completa pero Mycelic Slipspawn estaba próximo a caer. En el turno 3 de la ronda 4, Mycelic Slipspawn había caído pero Centauri Mage abatió a Magi of Chaos, a esta altura de la partida al enemigo sólo le quedaba 1 monstruo, y a mí me quedaban 5. Finalmente, en el turno 5 de la ronda 4, Suidae Shaman cerró la batalla con una victoria abatiendo a Goblin Psychic de un recargazo. Cabe destacar que cada carta en la estrategia planteada cumplió su función, de acuerdo a lo explicado anteriormente. Y también quiero resaltar que lo importante en una estrategia no es que todas tus cartas estén al nivel máximo de la liga sino usar las cartas adecuadas en sus niveles adecuados que en conjunto contribuyan al fin último de tu estrategia o propósito de tu composición. En la batalla que les mostré, la mayoría de las cartas del enemigo estaban al máximo de la liga de Plata en contraste a las mías. Sin embargo, vieron el resultado, ¿No?. Todo esto pueden observarlo en las siguientes imágenes.

On turn 12 of round 3, Spirit Druid Grog took down Queen Mycelia. Leaving the enemy with 2 monsters, and my composition was still complete but Mycelic Slipspawn was about to fall. On turn 3 of round 4, Mycelic Slipspawn had fallen but Centauri Mage took down Magi of Chaos, at this point in the game the enemy only had 1 monster left, and I had 5 left. Finally, on turn 5 of round 4, Suidae Shaman closed the battle with a victory by taking down Goblin Psychic with a reload. It should be noted that each card in the strategy fulfilled its function, as explained above. And I also want to emphasize that the important thing in a strategy is not that all your cards are at the maximum level of the league but to use the right cards at the right levels that together contribute to the ultimate goal of your strategy or purpose of your composition. In the battle I showed you, most of the enemy's cards were at the top of the Silver league in contrast to mine. However, you saw the result, didn't you? You can see all this in the following images.
