I always like to talk about them because every day they have an interesting story to tell us. Who are they? The rescuers and protectionists of homeless animals.

I'll tell you the story of this little tenderness that our protectionist, teacher and functional trainer, Mariam Trias, gave us a few days ago. I repeat her words: "We met and it was an immediate connection, I did not plan to go for a jog, I hesitated because it was Sunday and I wanted to rest, but God arranged for me to go because the puppy and I had to meet to rescue him from abandonment".

She tells us that it had been a year since she had gone out to train in the outskirts of the city. This area is quite unpopulated and what remains in the environment are oil stations, trails, typical vegetation of the plains, tropical bushes and savannah animals.

He accepted the invitation of the runners club, to do a collective jog, and they left very early on Sunday, it would be about 6 in the morning. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a little dog, about 3 or 4 months old, appeared in front of her. She made love to him, and deduced that he was from a nearby house, but not only did he keep running beside her, but they did not see any houses in the vicinity during the jog.

The deduction changed, and what came to their minds was that he had been left out there to hunt for his own food, but if so, it was a very cruel act.
They circled the area several times to see if there were any other puppies, but there were none in the area.Mariam carried the puppy and continued her trot with him, expressing a very sensitive phrase on her WhatsApp: Who rescued whom?

The puppy's joy at being rescued by someone, the love he received, the water and food he was given and a soft and safe place to sleep, changed his life. He now has a home and a family who adopted him and is giving him the care he deserves.

I love these rescue stories, and even more to see the evolution of these little angels when they are released from the streets.

Siempre me gusta hablar de ellas porque a diario tienen una historia interesante que contarnos. ¿Quiénes son? Las rescatistas y proteccionistas de animales en situación de calle.

Les cuento la historia de esta ternurita que nuestra proteccionista, profesora y entrenadora funcional, Mariam Trias, nos brindó hace unos días. Repito las palabras de ella: "Nos encontramos y fue una conexión inmediata, yo no pensaba ir al trote, lo dudé porque era domingo y quería descansar, pero Dios dispuso que yo fuera porque el cachorro y yo nos teníamos que encontrar para rescatarlo del abandono".

Ella nos cuenta que tenía un año que no salía a entrenar por las adyacencias de la ciudad. Esta zona es bastante despoblada y lo que queda en el entorno son estaciones petroleras, trochas, vegetación típica de llano, arbustos tropicales, y animales de sabana.

Aceptó la invitación del club de runners, para hacer un trote colectivo, y se fueron el domingo muy temprano, serían como las 6 de la mañana. De repente, de la nada, le apareció al paso un perrito de escasos 3 o 4 meses, aproximadamente. Ella le hizo cariño, y dedujo que era de alguna vivienda cercana, pero no sólo él siguió corriendo a su lado, sino que no vieron ninguna vivienda en los alrededores durante el trote.

La deducción cambió y lo que les asaltó en la mente era que lo hubieran abandonado por ahí para que cazara su propio alimento, pero de ser así era un acto muy cruel. Dieron varias vueltas en el área a ver si había otros cachorros, pero no había nada en el lugar.

Mariam cargó al cachorrito y siguió su trote con él, expresando una frase muy sensible en su WhatsApp: ¿Quién rescató a quién?

La alegria del perrito al ser rescatado por alguien, las muestras de amor recibidas, el agua y el alimento que le proporcionaron y un lugar suave y seguro para dormir, le cambiaron su vida. Ya cuenta con un hogar y una familia que lo adoptó y le está dando los cuidados que merece.

Yo amo estas historias de rescates, y más aún ver la evolución de estos angelitos cuando son liberados de las calles.
