PHOTOGRAPHY EXERCISE #17: "DECEMBER COLD MOON". (En - Es)
Hello, good morning to all photography lovers. Every day in my excitement to learn more tips and techniques to capture good images, I apply them in many situations. For example, recently it was explained to me how to photograph the Moon, and get a more or less sharp image of it, using some functions of my mobile device that I did not know.
It is to leave the camera in normal mode, with the flash off, and without the flashlight, press in the center of the screen focusing on the desired target, and adjust the intensity of the light (brightness or darkness). It should be brought to the bottom, to the dark mode, and at that moment, capture the image of the Moon, since in this way its natural luminosity will not prevent us from having a beautiful image of its view.
I was practicing days ago with other phases of the Moon, such as crescent and new moon. In the first one, I was able to get a distant view of the moon closing the sunset, but in the second opportunity, I was able to bring the lens closer and get a sharper image of its roundness.
This week we were able to witness the last Full Moon of the year 2024, also known as the Cold Moon or Long Night Moon. On Sunday night I managed to get a better image of it, and my friends and family in other parts of the world also tried to photograph it. I share the image of my best friend who managed to capture it from Boston, USA... and mine from Venezuela.
This Monday we could see a moon as big as a cassava cake, as we call it here. It was between cream and brown, and very low.I was able to take some shots between the thickness of some clouds.
To admire this natural phenomenon, we didn't need telescopes or other implements... we could all admire it directly.
